READ the Word of God

Wednesday 032625

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…’ AKJV

Jesus, I ask for that person reading this lesson this morning, maybe for the first time this individual is desiring to be standing in front of you, wanting to HEAR Your Message. Allow me Jesus to be Your voice to speak the words You want for those ears to hear. I love You Jesus. Use me, to spread Your Message so Your truth can be heard.

The Bible verses we’re going to use this morning are:

Acts 7:59-60, 9:15; Romans 11:11; 2 Timothy 2:15.

I ‘ve recently experienced a form of censorship, that I must admit has been confronted head on.

I have found myself back online posting my Bible lesson that’s available to the reader.

This Bible study, as well as any study of God’s Word, involves the reader to open their own Bibles and read what words God has inspired to be written for us to read.

Jesus will allow my voice to be used the way He sees fit … I am always going to FOLLOW Jesus’ choice.

So, this begins the format in this morning’s lesson.

Jesus predicted that it was His death and His blood that was being shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

The point that frustrates me the most is Jesus tells us this, before His death. Jesus tells us this before His blood was shed.

Up to this point when Jesus is telling us these things, He is still alive and walking in His earthly ministry.

There are so many churches that celebrate, remember and teach Jesus’ life, when it was actually His death that was supposed to save them. There are many that won’t allow Jesus’ blood to be shed so they can be forgiven.

What am I trying to show?

I’m not trying to be morbid or anything like that, but there are so many that believe and follow the teachings of Jesus, before He even died.

In essence, they are putting the cart before the horse.

Each one of us MUST open our own Bible and read the Word of God for ourselves so we can understand what God is trying to show us.

Jesus came to this earth to fulfil Old Testament prophecy and promises that were made to the forefathers of the Jewish people, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Religion’s teach us that our Bibles today are separated into the Old and the New Testament.

The New Testament or the New Covenant, is the promise given to ALL mankind, for the forgiveness of their sins, and that forgiveness didn’t happen until after Jesus was killed, it was His Blood.

The New Testament, according to biblical history doesn’t happen in our Bibles until there was a major change in how this earth believed in God.

And God made that change obvious beginning when the Jews had Jesus killed on the cross.

The change is even more evident and comes to a head after the Jews stoned Stephen to death in Acts chapter 7.

Acts 7

vs59 ‘…And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit…’

vs60 ‘…And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep…’ AKJV

God from His throne in heaven, looked down on His Chosen people, and He determined it was time for a pivotable change in His approach to save mankind.

God, at that moment recorded in Acts, from way back since Genesis 12, God decided His Chosen people should not be the only people chosen to be saved.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

God decided the Gentiles deserved to also be saved.

A Gentile is anyone that was not Jewish.

God never said you Gentiles, replace yourselves with the Jewish people and I will offer you the same promises that I made to them.

God never told us Gentiles we needed to keep the Mosaic Law and practice the same Jewish culture as the Jews valued among themselves.

In fact, God offered this GIFT to the Gentiles, just to make His Chosen people, the Jews jealous.

Romans 11:11 ‘…I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy…’ AKJV

We are warned in the Word of God that it is up to us to rightly divide the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 ‘…Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ NKJV

God gave each one of us, HIS WRITTEN WORD so we could HEAR what God wants from us.

Too many have taken the easy way out and decided to go sit in a building for an hour on Sunday and listen to a man tell us what he believes has been written for us.

OPEN YOUR BIBLES AND READ THE WORDS THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU.

Your pastor, your priest, your church that you might visit or its denomination, and in fact, even I am unable to SAVE you from Everlasting torment and destruction.

The ONLY One that is able to SAVE you is God Himself.

READ and trust in the WORD that He wants for us to HEAR.

Our lessons have gotten shorter, I know.

Over my many years of teaching, I know my message has changed also, this is what we get by continuously studying the Word that God gave to us and not focusing primarily on what a human being tells us to read or what they read to us, or what they’ve written themselves on what they interpret in the Word.

But I also know this, that God’s Message, His WORD has never and will never change.

Read your Bible and HEAR God’s Message that has been written for you.

READ IT FOR YOURSELVES.

I love y’all. I’ll be back next Wednesday with another message.

Back in July of 2024, I began, for a second time, to post a Bible study lesson every Wednesday of every week.

In October, I started posting a new lesson on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays so I could get more messages out into this lost world.

In November, I felt I needed to post a lesson every day of the week.

So, for four-and-a-half months I was posting Bible lessons seven days a week. I had intended on posting daily lessons up through Easter Sunday this year and then I was going to return to one weekly lesson posted on Wednesdays.

I am a non-profit entity and I was facing a yearly fee for an app that I was unable to secure.

This is the first time I’ve voiced anything since this past Sunday.

I am still a non-profit, and I have found a replacement app for writing my lessons that are free. I still have the thirteen sites that I’ve been posting my daily lessons on, but I have found my voice silenced for a short time, I hope.

I am intrigued with Acts 9:15 … how can there be so many that are missing this one verse found in the Word of God.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

The above verse was spoken by the Ascended Jesus to Ananias, a believing Jew in Damascus.

Our churches today in the 21st century preach what Jews were commanded to do to be saved, yet these same churches miss teaching their congregations what Jesus had planned for us Gentiles.

I’m going to return, but it might be a while until my next lesson.

Do yourself a favor and open up your Bibles and read the words God has plans for you. Don’t worry about what another man teaches you on Sunday, read what God wants for you to know and FOLLOW.

OBEY Jesus and FOLLOW Him and what He wants for us to do.

Paul wrote thirteen books, from Romans to Philemon. These are the writings that Jesus has planned for us to be taught by.

I love all of y’all.

Christ was crucified for you

Sunday 031625

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

1 Corinthians 1:23, 15:1-4; Acts 9:15, 13:9; Ephesians 2:8; Matthew 24:36.

1 Corinthians 1:23

AKJV

‘…but we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

‘…but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentile’s foolishness…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

‘…As for us, we proclaim the crucified Christ, a message that is offensive to the Jews and nonsense to the Gentiles…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

‘…But as for us, we tell people about how Christ died on a cross. That is a message that Jewish people refuse to accept as true. Gentile people think that it is a silly message…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

The apostle Paul never taught us about ‘Jesus’ walking on the water or Jesus calming the sea from the storm.

Those two (2) lessons from Jesus’ earthly ministry means nothing to us Gentiles.

But Paul teaches, ‘we preach Christ crucified.’

Us Gentiles, we are given salvation by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, not anything that He physically did while He walked on this earth.

Paul writes his Gospel:

1 Corinthians 15

vs1 ‘…Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand…’

vs2 ‘…by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain…’

vs3 ‘…For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures…’

vs4 ‘…and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

This Gospel by the apostle Paul is our promise by God.

This Gospel has been delivered by the one, that was hand-picked by Jesus, Himself. Jesus chose Saul.

Acts 9:15 (this is Jesus talking to Ananias)

AKJV

‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he (Saul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NIV

‘…But the Lord said to Ananias, go! This man (Saul) is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel…’ NIV (New International Version)

GNT

‘…The Lord said to him, go, because I have chosen him (Saul) to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

NLT

‘…But the Lord said, go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel…’ NLT (New Living Translation)

CEV

‘…The Lord said to Ananias, go! I have chosen him (Saul) to tell foreigners, kings, and the people of Israel about me…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

Allow me to insert one (1) verse in here for you.

Acts 13:9 ‘…Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus chose Saul / Paul to teach us, the Gentile people … how can there be pastors, churches and denominations that look away from this choice by Jesus?

As I’ve commented in several of our lessons: how can any man, any pastor, any church or denomination argue against what is written in the Word of God?

This is not Leon saying this, this is God telling us in His Word that He has given to us.

In my studies of His Word, Acts 9:15 has to be the most powerful verse I’ve read.

Jesus chose Paul to teach us …

Why are we looking elsewhere?

Why are our churches teaching us words not from God’s Word?

It is because of the UNBELIEF that is in this world.

The UNBELIEF that is found in these man-made churches throughout this world.

This UNBELIEF has all been caused by Satan.

This cloud that Satan hangs over our heads wanting to keep us from realizing just exactly what he is doing.

We have been taught, generation after generation, about what we need to do to be saved.

But this Bible tells us differently.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NASB

We have been given a GIFT.

God is offering to give to us a GIFT that all we need to do is to take it and BELIEVE that He is powerful enough to do it.

We have been given the ‘free will’ to choose and decide what we want to believe in.

We can either believe what Ephesians 2:8 is telling us, or we can be like every man that has walked this planet earth up to this point, and we can show our unbelief towards God.

We can be like Adam and Eve. We can be like the Israelites at Kadesh Barnea. We can be like Jonah and try to run away and hide from God or we can be like the Pharisees and the Sadducees back in Jerusalem, 2000 years ago.

God has given us the promise of salvation by just BELIEVING in Him and believing in His Word.

All we have to do is BELIEVE.

There are many that are going to make the comment that it can’t be that easy. God wants more from us.

Okay, well, where does God tell us that?

Am I supposed to believe ‘you’ and trust that your word will surpass what God has told me to BELIEVE in His Word?

Google.com tries explaining 1 Corinthians 1:23 for us:

Paul is not implying that God is foolish, but rather that God’s way of reasoning is in accord with things of the spirit, which confounds the reasoning of this world.

This all ties in with this ‘MYSTERY’ that God tells us in His Word.

Maybe us human beings have got to get over the fact that it is impossible for us to know everything there is to know about the ‘Triune’ God.

I cannot imagine three-in-one concepts. I have no idea what that all entails.

But that being said, God doesn’t tell us in His Word we MUST understand what He is telling us.

He is GOD.

He can do anything that He wants to do, whenever He wants to do it. It doesn’t matter … He’s GOD.

We are ‘His’ created beings. Made for ‘His’ pleasure.

We have been created for by and for Him.

If God wants to keep a secret from us, who are we to say anything?

God has given us His Word to help us make it through this life we are living.

I am here to tell you, you need to open your Bibles and read at what He has said because it will shock you.

Your church has been lying to you for generations.

The religion your family has participated in has been lying to you for generations.

Open your Bibles and read for yourself and learn what God has given to us.

The ‘end’ is one day going to come.

When, we do not know for sure, only God the Father knows when the end is going to be the end.

Matthew 24:36

AKJV

‘…But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

‘…But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

‘…No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son; the Father alone knows…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

‘…Jesus then said, Nobody knows the day or the hour when all these things will happen. Only God the Father knows when they will happen. The angels who are in heaven do not know. Even the Son does not know…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

Since we DO NOT know for sure when the end will come, when time stops, I would suggest you begin in the book of Romans and read the thirteen epistles that Paul wrote to us first.

Allow Jesus to guide you the way He desires.

Keep your Bibles open and continue studying His Word.

I love every one of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen InHIM. ><)))o>

His TRUE Message

Saturday 031525

Galatians 1:3-5; Acts 9:15, 13:9; Galatians 1:6-7, :15-19.

Galatians 1

AKJV

vs3 ‘…grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ…’

vs4 ‘…who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father…’

vs5 ‘…to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

vs3 ‘…Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ…’

vs4 ‘…who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father…’

vs5 ‘…to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

vs3 ‘…May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace…’

vs4 ‘…In order to set us free from this present evil age, Christ gave himself for our sins, in obedience to the will of our God and Father…’

vs5 ‘…To God be the glory forever and ever! Amen…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

vs3 ‘…I pray that God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ will continue to help you. I pray that they will give you peace in your minds…’

vs4 ‘…Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice because of all the wrong things that we have done. He did that to save us from all the bad things of this world in which we live now. This is what God, our Father, wanted him to do…’

vs5 ‘…God is great, and we should praise him forever. Amen. This is true…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

The ‘present evil age’ in the (AKJV, NASB, GNT) and ‘bad things of this world (EASY) explain the events going on in our world that we live in, today in the 21st century.

The apostle Paul wrote Galatians 1 in the early to mid-50’s. Not 1850 or 1950, he wrote Galatians in 0050.

It has been noted by several people that mankind today, is not that much different than man was back two thousand (2000), three thousand (3000), four thousand (4000) years ago.

Our toys are different, our clothes are different, we wear our hair differently, but the way mankind acts is just about the same.

A major difference that I want to shout as loud as I can, there are not that many people today that read the Word taken from the Bible.

We still have people that go to church every Sunday, but the majority of the sermons are all man-made words.

So many churches today print their own sermons to be read to their congregation.

God gave us the written Word, why is that not read in every church throughout this world.

Rather than listening how some man on the pulpit feels, don’t you think it is more important for us to hear what God thinks?

One of my stronger verses I quote from Scripture is:

Do these people think they are wiser than Jesus?

Do they think they are more powerful than Him?

This is Jesus we’re talking about. The One that died on a cross for ‘our’ sins. Not sins that He committed but rather the sins that we commit, even still to this day.

Galatians 1

AKJV

vs6 ‘…I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel…’

vs7 ‘…which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

vs6 ‘…I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel…’

vs7 ‘…which is not just another account; but there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

vs6 ‘…I am surprised at you! In no time at all you are deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are accepting another gospel…’

vs7 ‘…Actually, there is no ‘other gospel,’ but I say this because there are some people who are upsetting you and trying to change the gospel of Christ…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

vs6 ‘…I am very surprised that you are turning away so soon from God. He is the one who chose you to come to him. He did that because Christ is very kind to you. But now you want to accept a different message which some people call good news…’

vs7 ‘…But really, there is no other message from God which is good news. Some people are confusing you. They are trying to change the good news about Christ and make it something different…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

The apostle Paul found that there were Jews that frequented the places where he preached, and these Jews were telling the Gentiles different messages than what Paul taught.

The major difference, these Jews told the Gentiles they had to be circumcised before they could be with God. They had to obey the Law for God to love them.

These are both untrue and false messages.

These are the same messages that got the Jewish religion on the wrong side of Jesus.

But our churches today are doing exactly the same thing. They are preaching to their congregation that they MUST tithe 10% of their income to that church.

They preach to the church members that they must go to church every Sunday.

These are nothing but man-made rules taught by the man-made churches found in this world today.

Galatians 1

AKJV

vs15 ‘…But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace…’

vs16 ‘…to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood…’

vs17 ‘…neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days…’

vs19 ‘…But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother …’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

vs15 ‘…But when He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace was pleased…’

vs16 ‘…to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood…’

vs17 ‘…nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him for fifteen days…’

vs19 ‘…But I did not see another one of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

vs15 ‘…But God in his grace chose me even before I was born and called me to serve him. And when he decided…’

vs16 ‘…to reveal his Son to me, so that I might preach the Good News about him to the Gentiles, I did not go to anyone for advice…’

vs17 ‘…nor did I go to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before me. Instead, I went at once to Arabia, and then I returned to Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…It was three years later that I went to Jerusalem to obtain information from Peter, and I stayed with him for two weeks…’

vs19 ‘…I did not see any other apostle except James, the Lord’s brother…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

vs15 ‘…But God had chosen me to serve him even before I was born. He chose me to be his servant because he is very kind…’

vs16 ‘…He decided to show his Son clearly to me, so that I could tell the Gentiles about him. When God chose me to do that, I did not talk about it with any person…’

vs17 ‘…Nor did I go to Jerusalem to see Christ’s apostles there. Those men were already his apostles before I was. But I did not go to talk to them. Instead, I went immediately to the region of Arabia. Later, I went back to the city of Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…Then, three years later, I did go to Jerusalem. I stayed there with Christ’s apostle Peter for 15 days, so that he could teach me…’

vs19 ‘…I did not see any other apostles, except James, who is the Lord’s brother…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

It doesn’t really matter the version you use to read the Bible. Compare what version you read to make certain that it basically is saying the same message as in the other versions.

The original Bible was written in an entirely different language so exact words cannot matter. The only real true way of overcoming this would be to learn how to read in a different language, mostly Greek.

Keep your Bibles open and continue to study the Word that God has given us.

Be wise. If the message you hear at church on Sunday morning cannot be backed up with what is written in the Bible, leave the message and that church alone and find something different.

I love every one of y’all.

Pray and keep God near you at all times.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen I am, InHIM. ><)))o>

CONFESS that Jesus is Lord and BELIEVE

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Romans 10:9; Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 2:8; 2 Peter 3:14-18.

In my attempt to spread the Word, to the people in the 21st century, I am posting a new lesson every morning.

I am posting my lessons on eleven (11) different sites.

On Facebook, I am:

So, I think beginning in this lesson, we are going to add another Bible verse to the top of every study.

After this paper, you will begin to see Romans 10:9 at the top of every lesson.

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Over the years and after teaching many lessons, as well as sitting in on many lessons, I’ve found an easier interpretation for us to maybe understand.

Romans 10

vs9 ‘…The message is this: You must say clearly that Jesus is the Lord. Also, you must believe deep inside yourself that God raised him to life again after his death. Then God will save you…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

I’ve done several lessons on all the different versions, printed in the English language and I’ve done a few on how many people are unable to interpret what they read.

So, this morning, I’m going to try and combine them both in a lesson I hope everyone will be able to take and use some of the lesson in their own life and walk with Jesus.

I hope there are those out there that know me well enough to know that I am not a person that does not believe in God.

I very much believe in God; I must admit what I fail to understand is how so many people can believe in such nonsense that so many churches are preaching today.

These so-called ‘men of God’ should be ashamed of themselves for the lies they spread each and every week onto the people of this world.

Now don’t misunderstand me, there are some churches that believe in the words written in our Bibles but there are some that preach what they determine to be true or not true.

To me, the number one failure on many churches is when they preach the only version, we should read in English is the King James Version.

Where did God write that we should follow that belief?

This is nothing other than a man-made lie told to many about what an individual believed in.

The KJV is nothing more than a translation that has been translated from a different language into English, very poorly used English today in the 21st century. Now if you really like Shakespearean plays: wherefore art thou Romeo, or you actually talk like this today, the KJV is the version for you.

But I don’t, and I don’t think there are a lot of Americans that do speak like that today, except maybe on Sunday mornings in some church buildings throughout our country.

I think if GOD had intended for us to ONLY read His Word in the KJV, He would have told us that, somewhere written in the Word.

But He didn’t. I’m pretty settled that I have addressed this issue.

The NASB has been said to be the most precise interpretation in English language compared to the original texts.

Once again, I think that is an interpretation, a viewpoint but it is a lot easier reading from the NASB than it is from the KJV.

I have written for years how each one of us, have got to get a Bible and open it and read for ourselves what God has written for us.

There are too many pastors preaching what they want us to hear instead of them preaching what God has already told us.

Just one example is how the church tells us we are supposed to tithe 10% of our income to that church … because the Bible tells us that.

WHERE DOES IT TELL US THAT?

It is no where between the covers of a Bible other than in some pastors’ mind that it should be in the book.

It is nothing more than false preaching from a false prophet or a false teacher.

We have been told we should give, but there has never been an amount stated as to how much we should give.

In fact, it has never been said that it was monetary, and it was supposed to be from our income, what we make financially for our family.

If we open the door for an elderly couple at Cracker Barrel, we give. If we help an older lady across the street, we give. If we shovel the snow or we cut the grass for someone and don’t expect any payment, we give. When we help a homeless person, with either money for food, clothes or shelter, we give.

There is so much today taught in man-made churches that are nothing more than Jewish rites that early men and women did every day from their Jewish religion.

Baptism, Sunday services, the Ten Commandments, eating certain foods or not eating certain foods, these are all Jewish beliefs that were taught and meant for them, the Jews.

None of this was ever given to us Gentiles as a nation, a people. These are all lies by these pastors.

The lessons I just did on the apostle Paul and why Jesus chose him, these are all things that are written in the Word for us Gentiles.

These man-made churches, they want us to be like the Jews, but God has told us that we are different but, in our difference, we are ALL the same.

Galatians 3:28 ‘…There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

In our past few lessons, I answered for myself, much why God chose the apostle Paul to be the one to teach us.

The original apostles just never wanted to leave Jerusalem.

They finally did after Paul began writing letter after letter to the Gentile churches.

The Bible is like a roadmap for us today. three quarters of the book was never meant for us to follow. We are to read how those in earlier generations failed God and we have been shown to do differently than they did, but there is nothing that they did that we are told that we are supposed to follow.

The apostle Paul, chosen by Jesus Himself, wrote thirteen (13) epistles that were meant for us and these epistles were meant to show us how to be saved.

Our two (2) verses are important for us today.

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

These two (2) verses were both written by the apostle Paul and they say a lot for us and for our future.

One of the original apostles, the apostle Peter, wrote in his 2nd epistle:

2 Peter 3

vs14 ‘…Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found spotless and blameless by Him, at peace…’

vs15 ‘…and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you…’

vs16 ‘…as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction…’

vs17 ‘…You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unscrupulous people and lose your own firm commitment…’

vs18 ‘…but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Peter describes there are some things hard to understand in Paul’s writings (vs16) but he speaks of the wisdom that Paul received and is now writing to us (vs15).

The major thing we have been shown in the writings that are not meant for us Gentiles to follow, which is about three quarters of the Bible, we have been shown the foolish misguided mistakes that early man has committed against God.

In reality, we can read of the mistakes the Jewish nation has done to itself.

Demanding kings when God warned them about these man-made kings. So similar to our politics and our elections that we hold up to present time.

The younger generation destroyed so much of our history that we had accumulated over the centuries, and I must agree some of our American forefathers made some ‘very’ poor decisions against other men, different from them, but by destroying the history, all they accomplished is the same thing can be done over again.

Sometimes logic and common sense can mean so much. We may not think about it at the time but later it will make sense.

We are too fast paced … in too big of a hurry to do anything as long as we’re doing something. Sometimes we just need to sit back and reflect on what was done right and what was done wrong.

Tell yourself, you’re going to take the time today and start reading the Holy Bible and learn what God told us from way back in the beginning of time.

When you read the Word, read it as if it is God talking to you, don’t read it like you already know the answers, you already know all there is to know. Read the Word because you want to hear God talk to you.

Let me also voice this, because of time, we do not know when God will decide the time is up and pull the plug, begin reading in the Book of Romans that the apostle Paul wrote for us Gentiles.

Read all thirteen (13) of the books Paul wrote to us. Listen to the love that God is offering to us, all we have to do is accept and BELIEVE.

There is so much for you to learn from. Get yourself a good study Bible, in fact, download biblegateway.com and keep the Bible always on your computer, on your smart phones, on your tablets and every other kind of a device that we have today.

Keep your Bibles open and study the Word that God gave to us and read about what He has promised to us.

I love ALL of y’all. One day shortly, we’re all going to learn all that is involved in that simple four (4) letter word L-O-V-E.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

Jesus did choose thirteen

Thursday 031325

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Matthew 27:5; Acts 1:12-26, 9:15, Matthew 19:28; Acts 8:1, 10:13-16, 9:15.

So, we begin this morning’s lesson with Jesus saying to the original twelve apostles…

FOLLOW ME.

Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus and as a result he hung himself.

Matthew 27:5 ‘…And he threw the pieces of silver into the temple sanctuary and left; and he went away and hanged himself…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

After the crucifixion and Judas was dead, the remaining apostles and others that were present (Acts 1:15), they chose a replacement for Judas. Nowhere is it said that Jesus ‘chose’ the replacement for Judas other than in Acts 1:24-25, where the people prayed to God and asked for His help.

In Acts 1:26a however ‘…And they drew lots…’

This does not sound like Jesus saying: FOLLOW ME.

Acts 1

vs12 ‘…Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away…’

vs13 ‘…When they had entered the city, they went up to the upstairs room where they were staying, that is, Peter, John, James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James…’

vs14 ‘…All these were continually devoting themselves with one mind to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers…’

vs15 ‘…At this time Peter stood up among the brothers and sisters (a group of about 120 people was there together), and said…’

vs16 ‘…Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus…’

vs17 ‘…For he was counted among us and received his share in this ministry…’

vs18 ‘…Now this man acquired a field with the price of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out…’

vs19 ‘…And it became known to all the residents of Jerusalem; as a result, that field was called Hakeldama in their own language, that is, Field of Blood…’

vs20 ‘…For it is written in the book of Psalms: May his residence be made desolate, And may there be none living in it; and May another take his office…’

vs21 ‘…Therefore it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us…’

vs22 ‘…beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us—one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection…’

vs23 ‘…So they put forward two men, Joseph called Barsabbas (who was also called Justus), and Matthias…’

vs24 ‘…And they prayed and said, You, Lord, who know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two You have chosen…’

vs25 ‘…to occupy this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place…’

vs26 ‘…And they drew lots for them, and the lot fell to Matthias; and he was added to the eleven apostles…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Jesus, however, did chose Saul to be His ‘chosen vessel.’

Here are several different versions for you to see:

So, Jesus then, ‘DID’ choose thirteen apostles.

When the apostles picked a replacement for Judas, is that why Jesus chose not to use the remaining original eleven because they followed their own way instead of following Jesus’ way?

Another point, Jesus told the original twelve to FOLLOW HIM and since Jesus was gone from this earth, the apostles needed to lead now and they could no longer, follow. Maybe they couldn’t lead.

When Jesus walked this earth, He told the apostles he had chosen them to sit on a throne and rule over the twelve (12) tribes of Israel.

Matthew 19:28 ‘…And Jesus said to them, truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

There have been several comments made that this could be the very reason the remaining apostles needed to fill Judas’ spot so when Jesus returned to set up His Kingdom, there would be twelve (12) apostles to sit on the twelve thrones, not only eleven.

Another point that has been made is the apostles just never left Jerusalem to go out and teach all the nations about Jesus.

We know this by Scripture, when Stephen was martyred by stoning, the apostles still remained where they had been, in Jerusaslem.

Acts 8:1 ‘…Now Saul approved of putting Stephen to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

The apostles hadn’t left Jerusalem.

In Acts 10, Peter does travel to the house of Cornelius to minister to the Gentiles but in Acts 11, he returns to Jerusalem to tell the other apostles what he had done.

Before the part where Peter leaves to travel to Cornelius’ house, Peter has a dream on the rooftop about eating food, food that a Jewish person would never touch, not even thinking about attempting to eat such a thing.

Acts 10

vs13 ‘…A voice came to him, get up, Peter, kill and eat…’

vs14 ‘…But Peter said, by no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean…’

vs15 ‘…Again a voice came to him a second time, what God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy…’

vs16 ‘…This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into the sky…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Peter’s ‘Jewishness’ was once again getting in the way of God’s wishes.

It was before this event on the rooftop, that Jesus had already decided on his choice by using Paul.

This verse is found in Acts 9:15, I’ve already shown this once in this lesson, but here it is again, so many times the Bible teaches us of the importance in repeating what has been earlier said.

Here I have shown several versions for you to read.

Acts 9:15

AKJV

‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NIV

‘…But the Lord said to Ananias, go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel…’ NIV (New International Version)

GNT

‘…The Lord said to him, go, because I have chosen him to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

NLT

‘…But the Lord said, go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel…’ NLT (New Living Translation)

CEV

‘…The Lord said to Ananias, go! I have chosen him to tell foreigners, kings, and the people of Israel about me…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

Jesus chose Paul, maybe because the original would never leave or change their manmade ways.

Whatever the reason, we will one day, ultimately find out the entire story.

Until that day, keep your Bibles open and continue to read of what God has given us.

Study the Word and use it as a ‘SWORD’ and know what is and what is NOT written in the Word.

Don’t allow another human being to tell you what they think, back up your thoughts with what has been written.

I love ALL of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen InHIM. ><)))o>

Why didn’t Jesus keep the original ones?

Wednesday 031225

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study this morning:

Matthew 16:21; Mark 8:31; Luke 9:22; Matthew 17:22-23; Mark 9:31; Luke 9:44; Mark 9:32; Luke 9:45; Matthew 20:18-19; Mark 10:33-34; Luke 18:32-33, :34; John 20:6-9, :19-25, :26-29; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:1-3, 8:1, 10:27-29, 11:1-3.

Today’s lesson has been haunting me for quite a while now.

It seems, after the crucifixion; the remaining eleven original apostles were abandoned by Jesus. What, if anything, happened.

Let’s look at some history taken from out of the Bible instead of what ‘MAN’ wants us to believe.

The apostles never understood when Jesus tried telling them before hand of His death, burial and resurrection.

Jesus told them on three (3) different occasions, and it is recorded all three times in three different books:

Matthew 16:21, 17:22-23, 20:18-19; Mark 8:31, 9:31, 10:33-34; and Luke 9:22, 9:44, 18:32-33.

Also, it has been noted in three different verses, that the apostles didn’t understand what Jesus had been telling them.

Mark 9:32; Luke 9:45 and Luke 18:34.

This was the 1st time Jesus said something to the apostles about His death, burial and resurrection.

Matthew 16:21 ‘…From that time Jesus began to point out to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go to Jerusalem and to suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised up on the third day…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Mark 8:31 ‘…And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise from the dead…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Luke 9:22 ‘…saying, the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised on the third day…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

This was the 2nd time Jesus told His disciples about His death, burial and resurrection.

Matthew 17

vs22 ‘…And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, the Son of Man is going to be handed over to men…’

vs23 ‘…and they will kill Him, and He will be raised on the third day. And they were deeply grieved…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Mark 9:31 ‘…For He was teaching His disciples and telling them, the Son of Man is to be handed over to men, and they will kill Him; and when He has been killed, He will rise three days later…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Luke 9:44 ‘…As for you, let these words sink into your ears: for the Son of Man is going to be handed over to me…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

These verses above in Mark and Luke noting that the apostles did not understand what Jesus was telling them.

Mark 9:32 ‘…But they did not understand this statement, and they were afraid to ask Him…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Luke 9:45 ‘…But they did not understand this statement, and it was concealed from them so that they would not comprehend it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this statement…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

And finally, a third time Jesus told the Disciples about His death, burial and resurrection.

Matthew 20

vs18 ‘…Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death…’

vs19 ‘…and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify, and on the third day He will be raised up…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Mark 10

vs33 ‘…saying, Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and will hand Him over to the Gentiles…’

vs34 ‘…And they will mock Him and spit on Him, and flog Him and kill Him; and three days later He will rise from the dead…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Luke 18

vs32 ‘…For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and will be ridiculed, and abused, and spit upon…’

vs33 ‘…and after they have flogged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day He will rise…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Again, in Luke, vs34 says how the apostles did not understand what Jesus was saying.

Luke 18:34 ‘…The disciples understood none of these things, and the meaning of this statement was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend the things that were said…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

It wasn’t until that very 1st Easter morning of Jesus’ Resurrection that the apostles understood Jesus’ teachings.

Up to this point, the apostles and Mary, they all thought the body of Jesus had been stolen and taken somewhere and hid.

Until vs7 …

John 20

vs6 ‘…So Simon Peter also came, following him, and he entered the tomb; and he looked at the linen wrappings lying there…’

vs7 ‘…and the facecloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings but folded up in a place by itself…’

vs8 ‘…So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed…’

vs9 ‘…For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

It wasn’t until vs 7 when they had seen the folded-up facecloth, that they realized all that Jesus had tried teaching them.

If someone was going to steal a body, they would not take the time to ‘fold up’ the facecloth.

So, the original remaining eleven apostles now believed that Jesus was Resurrected by God and taken to heaven.

But the most important part, these eleven apostles didn’t know that Jesus planned on saving ALL mankind, the Gentiles as well as the Jews.

Jesus appeared to the disciples after the crucifixion that evening, but Thomas was missing.

John 20

vs19 ‘…Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were together due to fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, Peace be to you…’

vs20 ‘…And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord…’

vs21 ‘…So Jesus said to them again, Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you…’

vs22 ‘…And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit…’

vs23 ‘…If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained…’

vs24 ‘…But Thomas, one of the twelve, who was called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came…’

vs25 ‘…So the other disciples were saying to him, we have seen the Lord! But he said to them, unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

It would have been hard for anyone to believe such a story.

John 20

vs26 ‘…Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, peace be to you…’

vs27 ‘…Then He said to Thomas, place your finger here, and see my hands; and take your hand and put it into my side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer…’

vs28 ‘…Thomas answered and said to Him, my Lord and my God…’

vs29 ‘…Jesus said to him, because you have seen me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed…’ NASB

After this, Jesus spent the next forty (40) days with the apostles before the Ascension to heaven.

Jesus commanded the ‘Great Commission’ to the apostles.

Matthew 28

vs19 ‘…Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit…’

vs20 ‘…teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

In the apostles’ defense, Jesus did tell them to wait in Jerusalem until after the Spirit had come upon them.

Acts 1

vs3 ‘…To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of things regarding the kingdom of God…’

vs4 ‘…Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, which, He said, you heard of from Me…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

So, the apostles were told to remain in Jerusalem until Pentecost, but we are told in Acts 8:1 that the apostles still had not left to make disciples in ALL the nations.

Acts 8:1 ‘…Now Saul approved of putting Stephen to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

The apostles had not yet moved. They remained in Jerusalem.

The stoning death of Stephen by the Sanhedrin was the changing point in biblical history. This is that part of Scripture our religions today have forgot to teach us, in fact, they don’t even read the verses found in Acts 9. Trust me, read Acts 9 for yourselves.

Now, Peter did travel and speak at the house of a Gentile man.

Acts 10

vs27 ‘…As he talked with him, he (Peter) entered and found many people assembled…’

vs28 ‘…And he said to them, you yourselves know that it is forbidden for a Jewish man to associate with or visit a foreigner; and yet God has shown me that I am not to call any person unholy or unclean…’

vs29 ‘…That is why I came without even raising any objection when I was sent for. So, I ask, for what reason did you send for me…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

But maybe more amazing, after Peter’s visit he had to return to Jerusalem to the other apostles because they had heard Peter was in the home of a ‘Gentile.’

Acts 11

vs1 ‘…Now the apostles and the brothers and sisters who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God…’

vs2 ‘…And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, the Jewish believers took issue with him…’

vs3 ‘…saying, you went to uncircumcised men and ate with them…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

After Jesus commissioned the remaining eleven to baptize ‘ALL’ nations, ten of them ‘at least,’ still had ‘religious’ problems with associating with the Gentile nation.

Is this why Jesus chose the apostle Paul to teach because He knew the remaining eleven (11) would not …?

Keep your Bibles open and continue your study to read of the plans God has for our future.

You will only know for sure if you read the Bible for yourself and learn what God has given to us.

I love ALL of y’all.

Our churches, since the 1st century have mislead those that thought they were headed towards Jesus’ love and promise of LIFE.

But Jesus made a pivotable change, and it is up to each one of us, to individually find out for ourselves if we want the promise of Everlasting Life after our life on this earth.

Are we going to choose LIFE in the presence of Jesus or will we opt on a life of eternal torment and destruction … the choice is yours.

Read your own Bible and ‘YOU’ make up your own mind. Begin reading in Acts 9 and allow Jesus to come into your heart and soul.

I love you.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

Paul, CHOSEN by Jesus – part2

Tuesday 031125

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Acts 9:15, 22:9, 9:18; Matthew 24:26; Acts 14:14; 2 Peter 3:15-16; Acts 13:9; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23; Matthew 19:28; 2 Timothy 1:15; Revelation 2:2; Matthew 15:24, 7:22-23, :13-14; Ephesians 2:8; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

I am going to continue on what is written on-line about the apostle Paul.

My go-to Bible verse that defines the definitive answer to this insane accusation out there in this world is found in Acts 9.

Acts 9:15

‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…But the Lord said to him, go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…The Lord said to him, go, because I have chosen him to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…But the Lord said to Ananias, go now to Saul! I have chosen him to work for me. He will go to those who are not Jews and to their rulers. He will tell them about me. He will also tell the people of Israel about me…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

How can anyone debate this verse?

In a RED-LETTER Bible, the words that came from Jesus’ mouth are written in red ink … vs15 of Acts 9 is in RED.

Here are some other things we might see when we’re on the internet:

-I am convinced Paul was a false apostle Jesus warned us about.

-I’m convinced Paul from the NT is the false apostle aka anti-christ Jesus warns about.

-Let’s start off with Paul hunting down Christians to have them killed for 1 and there’s so many more red flags with Paul I don’t know where to start.

-Benjamin ravenous wolf prophecy in genesis. Paul is from the tribe of Benjamin

-Paul has conflicting accounts on how he supposedly encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus.

‘…Acts 9:7 ‘…The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, for they heard the voice but could see no one…’

Acts 22:9 ‘…My companions saw the light but did not hear the voice of the one who spoke to me…’

This person undoubtedly, has put limits on what his god can and cannot do … it is too bad for him.

-Admits to being a pharisee many times after his conversion. Jesus calls pharisees vipers and snakes.

-After his encounter with Jesus he was blinded went to the house of Juda, Ananias cures him, and scales fall from his eyes.

The person making this comment can believe in the 1st part of vs18:

Acts 9:18 ‘…When Ananias said that, immediately something like bits of fish skin fell from Saul’s eyes. Then Saul could see again. So, he stood up and Ananias baptized him…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

… but they must’ve missed the part of Baptizing, and they couldn’t apparently believe vs15. (such a shame) smh

-Paul is related to the Herod, who were responsible for beheading Jesus’ cousin, John the Baptist.

-Jesus said when he leaves don’t believe anyone who says he seen him in the desert. Damascus where Paul claims to have an encounter with Christ is in the desert.

Matthew 24:26 ‘…Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus is still alive and walking the earth when Matthew wrote this verse. Once again, man is fitting the Bible to say what the person wants the Bible to say. Instead of changing their lives to fit into the Word, man changes the word to fit into their lives.

-Only Paul calls himself an apostle and Jesus has requirements to be his apostle.

Acts 14:14 ‘…But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard about it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowd, crying out…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

… and who was it that wrote the book of Acts?

Peter endorses the writings by Paul, and Paul calls himself an apostle several times.

2 Peter 3

vs15 ‘…and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you…’

vs16 ‘…as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Jesus never once talked about Paul coming after him in his ministry but did say anti-Christ’s will come after him.

I reckon our acclaimed writer must’ve missed Acts 9:15 where Jesus says He CHOSE Saul.

Acts 13:9

‘…Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…But Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, stared at him…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…Then Saul—also known as Paul—was filled with the Holy Spirit; he looked straight at the magician…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…Then God filled Saul with the power of his Holy Spirit. (Saul was also now called Paul.) Paul looked straight at Elymas, and he said…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

-Jesus said to ONLY follow him and only call HIM teacher/rabbi and you have only one father in the book of Matthew. None of his apostles ever say to follow them or called themselves teachers/rabbis or father. Paul on the other hand tells people to follow him and that he is their spiritual father in Christ in the book of Corinthians.

Maybe this is why Jesus chose Paul to teach the entire world, instead of having the remaining eleven since maybe they (the remaining eleven), didn’t really believe.

Acts 9:15c ‘…Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

-Paul admits to lying for God’s glory to gain followers. He even admits he’s a jew to the Jews under the Torah as well as become like those not under torah that aren’t Jewish.

1 Corinthians 9

vs19 ‘…For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more…’

vs20 ‘…And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law…’

vs21 ‘…to them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law…’

vs22 ‘…To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some…’

vs23 ‘…And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

I missed the part where Paul said he lied.

-Paul also says it’s OK to eat foods sacrificed to another god.

Not being under the Law, we have never been told to not eat what others have offered as sacrifices.

-Full of pride and refuses to learn from Jesus’ true apostles.

Maybe when Jesus picked Saul to teach in Acts 9:15, Jesus Himself was led elsewhere other than the original remaining apostles.

-There are only 12 foundations with 12 apostles’ names. Paul would be #13 because Judas was replaced by Matthias. So, Paul’s name won’t be on the 12 foundations.

That statement is meant for the Jew. When Jesus told the twelve about the thrones they would rule from, Jesus was still alive and teaching in His ministry.

This is also the reason why Peter found it so necessary to fill the vacated spot after Judas hung himself, if there were only eleven when Jesus returned, all of the thrones might be left for someone other than the original apostles.

Matthew 19:28 ‘…And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

-Probably the most damning evidence against Paul is when he admits:

2 Timothy 1:15 ‘…You know that almost all the believers in Asia region have turned against me. They include Phygelus and Hermogenes…’ EASY

Vs15, is a passage in the Bible that encourages Timothy to stand strong in his faith and to not be afraid to associate with persecuted Christians. Paul, writing to Timothy while awaiting execution by Rome, reminds Timothy that the Spirit of God gives Christians spiritual power. Paul also provides examples of faithful and faithless men to help Timothy make the right choices.

Phygelus and Hermogenes, these men betrayed Paul and followed false doctrines. Paul warns Timothy not to imitate them.

What an example people are setting up for themselves, to put their FAITH, TRUST and BELIEF in these two (2) men.

-Revelation 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Go to any Christian church and when it comes to Jesus’ gospels and Paul’s gospels, they quote Paul a lot more than they do Jesus, especially in catholic churches.

I am convinced Paul IS the false apostle and IS the anti-Christ Jesus warned us about that would come after him and most Christians will follow.

Jesus’ gospels were for the Jew. Jesus did not come to save the Gentile man; He came only for the Jew.

Matthew 15:24 ‘…But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

The ‘House of Israel’ is the Jewish children.

Paul was not hand picked by Jesus to teach the world until after He had Ascended back up into heaven.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Mankind has got to read what the Bible tells us and forget about what they think their word says.

-Also, just because Paul cast out demons in Jesus’ name doesn’t mean much when…

Matthew 7:22-23 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? ‘ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.

I cannot argue, there will be many that will be unable to find the narrow gate on that day when it will matter the most.

Poor interpretation will not be a defense, especially when He reads the Word to you Himself and the lights are turned on for you.

-Many Christians from different denominations believe they will enter heaven when it’s not that easy.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7 was written when Jesus was alive walking this earth. Those writing are ONLY for the Jewish individual. In fact, back in that time period, all the Jew had to recognize to be saved was that Jesus was the sent Messiah from God.

Today, after Jesus’ Death, Burial, and Resurrection, all we have to BELIEVE is Ephesians 2:8:

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

On that day when Jesus comes to this earth to take His Church home with Him, seven (7) years of the worst evil will be dispersed onto this earth.

1 Thessalonians 4

vs13 ‘…But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope…’

vs14 ‘…For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus…’

vs15 ‘…For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep…’

vs16 ‘…For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first…’

vs17 ‘…Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord…’

vs18 ‘…Therefore, comfort one another with these words…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

We have run long today, open your Bibles and read the Word He has given to you.

Read and understand what you see.

If you find yourself having a difficult time, pray to the Holy Spirit that He will come into your heart and make sense of what you are listening to.

The people on the internet making suggestions and those that cut down Scripture as being false, they are one day going to stand in front of Jesus Himself and make a count of their UNBELIEF in what His Word tells us.

Trust what God has given to us.

I love ALL of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen InHIM. ><)))o>

Paul, CHOSEN by Jesus – part1

Monday 031025

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Acts 9:15; 2 Peter 3:15-16; Galatians 1:15-16, :12; Acts 22:3, :25; Philippians 3:4-6; 2 Timothy 2:2.

Now in our previous study, I spoke of some things that others have said over time.

This is going to be about those things in this lesson.

My intention in doing this lesson is to give you the ammunition you are going to need when this type of garbage is put in front of you in the future. You will have the knowledge how to get around this wastefulness and find the truth in the Word of God.

So, as I was online, searching for material on the apostle Paul, I came across several sites that claimed Paul was a forgery and he was a fake and a false prophet.

Before we get to wound up and out of place, let’s look at what the Word tells us.

My number one (1) defense always:

Jesus, from inside the Holy Bible, tells us that ‘He chose Saul.’

In the ‘RED LETTER’ Bible, the words are printed in RED, the words came from Jesus’ mouth.

If Jesus chose Saul, how can there be ‘ANY’ man that can honestly defend anything that’s different?

Jesus’ choice has been written by Luke, that authored one of the synoptic gospels, Luke is writing that Jesus chose Saul.

The apostle Simon Peter, he is identified as knowing that the writings by Paul, though hard, are indeed, true.

2 Peter 3

AKJV

vs15 ‘…And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you…’

vs16 ‘…as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

NASB

vs15 ‘…and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you…’

vs16 ‘…as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

GNT

vs15 ‘…Look on our Lord’s patience as the opportunity he is giving you to be saved, just as our dear friend Paul wrote to you, using the wisdom that God gave him…’

vs16 ‘…This is what he says in all his letters when he writes on the subject. There are some difficult things in his letters which ignorant and unstable people explain falsely, as they do with other passages of the Scriptures. So, they bring on their own destruction…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

EASY

vs15 ‘…Remember that our Lord wants to save people from their sins. That is why he is now waiting patiently for people to turn to him before he will return. Paul has also written to you about these things. He is our friend that we love like a brother. God helped him to understand these things…’

vs16 ‘…He wrote about them in all his letters. Some things that he has written are difficult for people to understand. Some people have weak minds, and they are not sure about what they believe. They explain Paul’s teaching in a way that deceives people. They also explain other things in the Bible wrongly. As a result, those people will destroy themselves and God will punish them…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

So, these people that claim all of Paul’s writings should be removed from the bible, are they too claiming that Luke’s gospel, the Book of Acts, and all of Peter’s writings should also be removed from our Bible’s?

These individuals, instead of fitting the ‘word’ they want to keep in their lives, they need to start adjusting their lives to fit around the Word that God has given us.

Now in my studies of the Word, I have been searching, looking for an explanation why God chose Paul to be the apostle to teach the Gentiles, kings and the children of Israel rather than use the remaining apostles He already had trained through His ministry.

I begin my questioning as always with Acts 9:15:

I’ve looked on google.com for a possible answer, and even though google came up with several answers, I still remain with the same question as to why.

From google:

Chosen before birth.

Galatians 1

vs15 ‘…But God had chosen me to serve him even before I was born. He chose me to be his servant because he is very kind…’

vs16 ‘…He decided to show his Son clearly to me, so that I could tell the Gentiles about him. When God chose me to do that, I did not talk about it with any person…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

This is the apostle Paul writing.

Taught directly by Jesus.

Galatians 1:12 ‘…It wasn’t given or taught to me by some mere human. My message came directly from Jesus Christ when he appeared to me…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

Knowledge of Greek.

Paul was fluent in the Greek language and Greek culture and learned in Greek literature, which enabled him to relate to the Greeks (Gentiles) on their level. In some cases, he cited their poets to get his foot in the door as a prelude to revealing God to them.

Acts 22:3 ‘…I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. I studied under Gamaliel and was thoroughly trained in the law of our ancestors. I was just as zealous for God as any of you are today…’ NIV (New International Version)

Roman citizenship.

Acts 22:25 ‘…But when they stretched him out with straps, Paul said to the centurion who was standing by, Is it lawful for you to flog a man who is a Roman and uncondemned…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Jewish background.

Philippians 3

vs4 ‘…Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more…’

vs5 ‘…circumcised the eighth day of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, and Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee…’

vs6 ‘…concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness, which is in the law, blameless…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Ability to teach.

2 Timothy 2:2 ‘…The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

We must ALL be aware of false teachers out there in this world today.

Teaching what ‘they’ believe in and what they want you to believe in also.

If the words from these teachers’ mouths cannot be backed up by what has been written in the Word, throw their misguided words away.

They are spring nothing but lies in front of you.

Lies that could affect your future.

And because we are running a little long, I will address why Jesus didn’t just keep the remaining eleven to teach the Gentiles.

Keep your Bible’s open and continue studying the words He has given to us.

Time around us stops as we are learning about Jesus and the events about to happen in our future.

So many people claim they don’t have time to sit down and read the Bible and I claim, time will cease to exist as you’re reading the Word of God.

I love ALL of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

FAITH entails that we believe in HIM

Sunday 030925

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Romans 10:13; Joel 2:32; 1 Corinthians 1:12-13; Ephesians 2:8.

I am so elated this morning. I found a verse I have been looking for, for quite a while now. Please allow me to explain.

For years I have been describing to people, that they needed to open their Bible’s to hear the real truth, or they were going to have a difficult time, here in the future.

Well, this morning I was reading from a lesson that we had several months ago, and I found a verse that I have been looking for:

Romans 10:13

‘…For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…for Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…As the scripture says, Everyone who calls out to the Lord for help will be saved…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…As it says in the Bible: The Lord God will save everyone who asks him for help…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

There are some people that are just unable to read and comprehend what they’ve read, even if they just read it.

I live in North Carolina, and it is very prevalent here in this state.

Some people just cannot get anything out of reading something.

This has to be the number one reason we have been given the audible Bible here in this world.

If a person doesn’t have the time or they cannot interpret what has been written, they have the option that they can just listen to it.

Anyhow, this verse defines our FAITH in Jesus. It is like when we pray; we are praying to Jesus asking for His help, we in essence TRUST and BELIEVE in Him.

We are calling on His name.

The apostle Paul quotes from the OT book of Joel when he writes this letter to the Romans.

Joel 2:32

‘…And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…And it will come about that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, just as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…But all who ask the Lord for help will be saved. As the Lord has said, some in Jerusalem will escape; those whom I choose will survive…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…Everyone who asks the Lord for help will be safe. They will be safe if they believe in his name. The Lord will save the people on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem. He has promised this to those people whom he has asked to come to him…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

I know this from certain people around me: the Bible has never been picked up and read … but, that person has a relationship with Jesus that only her and God knows exactly what is going on.

Communication between the two is constant throughout each and every day.

Granted, the Bible is not opened … but those lines of communications are very active.

It is important that we keep our focus on Jesus and not worry about what we’ve heard or what someone else told us about something.

In this particular case, it is important to put our only trust in Jesus, since He is ultimately the only one who is going to save us.

Your pastor, the church that you attend, your churches denomination, in fact even me, none of us are going to be the ones that are going to save you from a future of everlasting torment. Only Jesus Christ, our God is going to be able to do that for you.

The apostle Paul wrote a verse found in the Bible just about this.

1 Corinthians 1

vs12 ‘…Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ…’

vs13 ‘…Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus is the ONLY reason.

Your college professor, no matter how many degrees he has or how smart he tells you that he/she is, he/she won’t be able to save you. Your mom and dad, even as much as they love you, won’t be able to save you either.

The stories I’ve heard over the years of a few professors at our most esteemed colleges in America, telling their students that God is fake and that He is unreal.

These professors coming out on day one (1), either you students believe in me when I say God is not real and you can pass this class, or you are going to fail and be miserable in your life.

This is from teachers that we place our trust in to teach our kids so they can grow up and achieve the most in this life.

Maybe the best story I heard was when a young man replied to the professor, sir you’ve never seen oxygen and if you don’t have it, you will die.

I have heard several stories where kids stand up against these poorly trained atheists that will ultimately live their future very likely to be like a ‘dung beetle.’

Rolling that ball of crap around for their entire life, up inclines and down valleys. On hot days and in the cold (and I sense that I can see their future, the vision appears to be very, very HOT), a little warmer than warm.

Only Jesus can save us. He came to this earth ‘ONLY’ for the Jew. He came to fulfill the OT prophesy. He came to teach all of us about FAITH and what it really means for our future.

But after He ascended up into heaven to sit on His throne, He descended to this earth and confronted Saul on his way to Damascus and chose him to be the apostle for the Gentile nation.

This is that degree of FAITH that we must have for us to open the GIFT of GRACE that God has given to us.

Ephesians 2:8

‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…When you believed in Jesus, God saved you because he is very kind. You could not save yourselves, but that is God’s gift to you…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

We have got to BELIEVE before we will be able to enjoy.

This is what I have been trying to teach to everyone. It is what has been written in the Word that is going to save us.

It’s not what our pastor has taught us. It’s not what our church or denomination believes in that will save us.

It’s not what I say is going to save you either, but it is only what God has said in the Word, HIS WORD that will ultimately save us in the future.

Read the Bible. Listen to the Bible. Pray to Jesus and TRUST and BELIEVE in Him.

God gave us the Word to help us in this life we are living on this earth.

Read of the history that has happened through all of time.

And when you read, remember that NOT ALL Scripture has been meant for us to FOLLOW.

Three quarters of the Bible is there for us to NOT follow but observe the mistakes that earlier generations committed against themselves and against God.

Be wise. When it is written in the Bible that Jesus chose, I hope you have the common sense to know that you’re not wiser than Jesus. If Jesus ‘chose,’ we should probably follow his choice.

I have been saying for years, it is our personal relationship with Jesus that is going to determine our future.

When we read the Word, we can easily tell what mankind has told us over the years is not true.

When we read the Word, we can see the directions that God has laid out for our future.

As we’re reading His Word, we should return our voice right back to God and ask for His assistance to keep us strong and in the line that He wants us to follow.

When we pray back to Him, we are completing this relationship between the two (2) of us.

We are strengthening our bonds with Him. We are making it easier for us to be certain we are heading in the correct direction.

Keep your Bibles open and continue in your study of the Word that GOD gave to us.

This next lesson involves some writings I found of what mankind believe is the truth.

Don’t mess with an unknown, read the Word of God and be assured that you have just read the truth.

I love ALL of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen.
