SIN – 2

Saturday 111624

Ephesians 2:8-9 ‘…For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s GIFT, so that no one can boast about it…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

Tonight, we’re going to finish our lesson on sin. We’re only going to follow what we find that pertains to us and realize that it’s only from our own effort in studying His Word that is going to let us take anything away that we can use in our lives by ourselves and with those that we love.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 4:1; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58; Colossians 1:24-29.

God rested on the seventh day.

Welcome back tonight. We’re going to finish the second part of this lesson.

We ended our last study speaking about the number seven. John’s last letter was to the seventh church, the church at Laodicea. I’ve made the comment several times, we are that church today in the 21st century.

God rested on the seventh day.

Before God can rest, before the horrors of Tribulation can begin, Jesus’ Church must first be removed from the earth.

There is not ‘1’ specific verse in the Bible that reads the church age must end before the Tribulation can begin; however, some Christians believe that the church will be ‘raptured’ before the tribulation, which would mean that the church age would have to end before the tribulation, can begin.

Maybe again, that key word: BELIEVE.

1 Thessalonians 4

vs13 ‘…But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as indeed the rest of mankind do, who have no hope…’

vs14 ‘…For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus…’

vs15 ‘…For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep…’

vs16 ‘…For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first…’

vs17 ‘…Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord…’

vs18 ‘…Therefore, comfort one another with these words…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Maybe the keyword here is BELIEVE.

Unlike the ‘chosen people,’ the ‘Pharisees and the Sadducees’ … unlike so many in the world today …

… if we BELIEVE and trust what God tells us in His Word, we will receive that GIFT that God has given us through His Grace.

Once again, the keyword here is BELIEVE.

When we read the word regarding when we will be caught up (raptured) in the air, we read of a single trumpet call in vs16 of 1 Thessalonians.

vs16 ‘…For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with thetrumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first…’

In Revelation when we read about ‘after these things’ we also read about this single trumpet call.

Revelation 4:1 ‘…After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Right before the Tribulation begins and the church age ends, there is this sound, this blast from a trumpet.

In the ‘blink of an eye,’ the church will be caught up in the clouds to remain FOREVER in the presence of Jesus and the seven horrible years of the Tribulation will begin.

1 Corinthians 15

vs50 ‘…What I mean, friends, is that what is made of flesh and blood cannot share in God’s Kingdom, and what is mortal cannot possess immortality…’

vs51-52 ‘…Listen to this secret truth: we shall not all die, but when the last trumpet sounds, we shall all be changed in an instant, as quickly as the blinking of an eye. For when the trumpet sounds, the dead will be raised, never to die again, and we shall all be changed…’

vs53 ‘…For what is mortal must be changed into what is immortal; what will die must be changed into what cannot die…’

vs54 ‘…So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: Death is destroyed; victory is complete…’

vs55 ‘…Where, Death, is your victory?
Where, Death, is your power to hurt…’

vs56 ‘…Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law…’

vs57 ‘…But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ…’

vs58 ‘…So then, my dear friends, stand firm and steady. Keep busy always in your work for the Lord, since you know that nothing you do in the Lord’s service is ever useless…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

We are told in the Bible of a MYSTERY, a Secret that God has kept from mankind since the beginning of time.

WHY some will ask, when instead it should be shouted:

WHY NOT.

Who say’s God cannot keep secrets from us?

Who’s either brave or dumb enough to even try and ask God?

Colossians 1

vs24 ‘…I am happy in my sufferings for you. There is much that Christ must still suffer. And I gladly accept my part of those sufferings in my body for the good of his body, the church…’

vs25 ‘…I became a servant of the church because God gave me a special work to do. This work helps you. My work is to tell the complete message of God…’

vs26 ‘…This message is the secret truth that was hidden since the beginning of time. It was hidden from everyone for ages, but now it has been made known to God’s holy people…’

vs27 ‘…God decided to let his people know just how rich and glorious that truth is. That secret truth, which is for all people, is that Christ lives in you, his people. He is our hope for glory…’

vs28 ‘…So we continue to tell people about Christ. We use all wisdom to counsel every person and teach every person. We are trying to bring everyone before God as people who have grown to be spiritually mature in Christ…’

vs29 ‘…To do this, I work and struggle using the great strength that Christ gives me. That strength is working in my life…’ ERV (Easy-to-Read Version)

Maybe I should offer a different version of these verses.

vs24 ‘… Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh, I am supplementing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of His body, which is the church…’

vs25 ‘…I was made a minister of this church according to the commission from God granted to me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God…’

vs26 ‘…that is, the mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints…’

vs27 ‘…to whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory…’

vs28 ‘…We proclaim Him, admonishing every person and teaching every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ…’

vs29 ‘…For this purpose I also labor, striving according to His power which works mightily within me…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Everything is written in the Word, but we must not act as if we’re stupid and we cannot see.

The book of Revelation does talk about trumpet blasts, but those blasts happen during the Tribulation, itself.

The Bible doesn’t tell us when this will occur. The Bible didn’t let the disciples know about this church age that we are living in now.

So, we MUST, by example, see that God is capable of doing things the way and when He wants to have things done.

We shouldn’t take a chance that one day we’ll be able to catch up and get in line, we should use the wisdom from the Bible and let us know it could come like a ‘thief in the night.’

This has been a powerful lesson for me. Every time I open the book of Revelation and begin to read, I get an urge to make sure others know they better get ready.

I remember ten (10), or so, years ago, I was on a big kick of:

ARE YOU READY

I think it was at that time I went through my first study in the book of Revelation.

Way back then, the book hadn’t been as opened up for me as it is today. The longer and the more study we do in His Word, the clearer and more obvious is His desire and His wants and expectations from us.

We are not here on this earth for us. We are on this earth; our purpose is to be here for God.

Too many today want to believe what they want to believe. They want to read the version they believe is the only right version to be read from, and the thing is none of that really matters.

The ONLY thing that matters is what God wants.

What does God want to do.

We should all get deeper into His Word so we will know what He expects from us.

Keep your Bibles open and always study His Word when you have the opportunity. I’m blessed, I’m older and I have the time that I can spend five, six, seven hours a day in His Word studying what He has been telling us.

I know not everyone can do that.

I remember what it was like when I had to be at work at seven and work ‘til three-thirty so I could get a paycheck at the end of two weeks so we could make it in this world we live in.

I know that but guess what, God knows that also. Jesus walked this planet, working, making money so He could survive the life that this world has to offer us.

Jesus is God. He was God when He walked this earth. He didn’t have to labor and go through the grief that He went through, but He did it because He loves us. He wants us to have the ability to get more than what this simple created, human life offers.

I love ALL of y’all. I want to teach His Word because of the beautiful promises that He has made to us.

You will never know those promises if you don’t pick the Word up for yourselves and begin reading what He has for us, for you and me.

Be blessed and read and study His Word. Open your mind and think about what He wants from us rather than listening to what this world is lying to us every day telling us what it has to offer us in return for us doing something for it.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

SIN – 1

Friday 111524

Ephesians 2:8-9 ‘…For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s GIFT, so that no one can boast about it…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

You and I together, let’s open and study the Word that we have ALL been given. Use me to help you study the Bible and allow me to be used to help you search what God wants for us to hear.

Let’s only follow what we find that pertains to us and realize that it’s only from our own effort in studying His Word that is going to let us take anything away that we can use in our lives by ourselves and with those that we love.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Romans 3:23, 3:21-31; Ephesians 2:8; Revelation 1:3, 1:11, 1:19, 4:1.

In my attempt to spread the Word, to the people in the 21st century, I am posting a new lesson every morning.

I am posting my lessons on eleven (11) different sites.

Sin is everywhere around us today. But not only that, every human being sins, every day.

That pope, a bishop, a priest, a pastor, a deacon, an usher on Sunday morning, a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, a governor, a senator, a president, a drug dealer, a drug user, and a prostitute … ALL HUMAN BEINGS SIN.

Romans 3:23 ‘…for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Always remember that you are not the ONLY one.

‘FOR ALL HAVE SINNED…’

I’m going to print the rest of this in an easier version for us to comprehend. The AKJV is authoritative, but I must admit, it is very hard to comprehend.

Romans 3

vs21 ‘…But now we know how to become right with God. God has shown us the way that he will accept people as right with himself. This way is not part of the Law that he gave to Moses. But God’s Law and the messages of his prophets have told us about it…’

vs22 ‘…God accepts people as right with himself because Jesus Christ did what God wanted. God accepts every person who believes in Christ. It is the same way for everyone, whether they are Jews or Gentiles…’

vs23 ‘…All people have done wrong things. Nobody can be good and great, as God wanted them to be…’

vs24 ‘…But because God is very kind, he accepts us as right with himself. That is God’s gift to us. Jesus Christ has paid for our sins so that we have become free…’

vs25 ‘…God showed everyone that Jesus Christ died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. God forgives us if we trust in Jesus and the blood of his sacrifice. God did this to show clearly that he is always right and fair. In past times, God was patient. He did not punish people who did wrong things…’

vs26 ‘…He did this to show us today that he is completely right and fair. He accepts people as right with himself if they believe in Jesus…’

vs27 ‘…So then, nobody should be proud that they are good enough. Nobody becomes right with God because they have done good things. No! God accepts a person only if that person believes in Jesus Christ…’

vs28 ‘…So this is what we are saying. A person becomes right with God if they trust in Christ. It is not because they do the good things which God’s Law teaches…’

vs29 ‘…God is not God only for Jewish people. He is also God for the Gentiles. Yes! He is the God for all people…’

vs30 ‘…There is only one God. He will accept Jews as right with himself if they believe in Christ. He will also accept other people as right with himself if they believe in Christ…’

vs31 ‘…What does this show us about God’s Law which he gave to Moses? When we say that all people need to believe in Jesus, does that mean that God’s Law has no purpose? No! When we believe in Jesus, we are showing the true purpose of God’s Law…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

The ONLY person that has walked on this planet earth that was PERFECT and without SIN was Jesus Christ and that was two thousand (2000) years ago.

ALL mankind is evil. ALL mankind sins.

There are many that do not understand why God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses to give to the Jewish people if He was one day going to get rid of them.

Who said God got rid of the Ten Commandments?

God didn’t get rid of the Ten Commandments, if we have FAITH and Believe in Jesus our FAITH is what frees us from the Ten Commandments. We are no longer ‘UNDER’ the LAW, being held accountable for when we do wrong and sin against the Ten Commandments.

Our FAITH has allowed us to accept the GIFT that God gave to us where sin no longer rules us.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

There are so many ‘man-made’ churches today that do not believe in the words written by the apostle Paul. In a way, I can understand what these churches are saying because the words that Paul wrote are so much different than the rest of the Bible. The point I’d make is that there were very few that believed what was written in the OT. The scrolls were read every day, but no one took the time to listen to the words. The UNBELIEF was so great in the times of Jesus’ ministry.

It has turned into that today. The largest difference is in the amount of people that DO NOT read the Word, and they don’t listen to it either. The WORD, our Holy Bibles are everywhere, except no one uses them. This has been my number ONE issue with this world today. We have been given the Word to help us through this life and this world looks toward others to make their life easier.

We build bomb shelters in our back yards instead of reading and preparing our future for what the Word tells us to do.

We buy solar panels and MRE’s (Meals-Ready-to-Eat) so we are going to be able to survive when our food sources run out.

We buy portable water filters so we can clean dirty, filthy, undrinkable water and presumably we can use the liquid in our MRE’s.

But no one reads the Word to realize, that in the book of Revelation, it is written telling us of a future without a sun, without drinkable water, without power to charge our cell phones or our laptops, no power. Everything that we today consider a necessity for our daily lives to continue, will one day cease to exist.

Have you ever read the Book of Revelation?

For those of us that BELIEVE in the Words that God has given us, the events that are going to happen in Revelation will occur without us being present. We have been promised of being removed from the events that are going to unfold.

A very fast Bible study lesson on the book of Revelation. There are twenty-two (22) chapters in the book, but the book has very easily been split into three (3) parts by God for us.

The PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE.

Revelation 1:3 ‘…Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

In other words, we should get ourselves in order for what could be happening at any time.

Revelation 1:11 ‘…saying, write on a scroll what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

John was told to ‘write what you see.’ In all fairness to John, he would first have to interpret what it was that he was looking at before he could write it down. This could be just one reason why this book has been so difficult over the years to comprehend. We are reading John’s interpretations.

Revelation 1:19 ‘…Therefore write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after these things…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

God is giving us the book, split into three parts:

PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE.

Past – seen

Present – are

Future – after these things

In chapter 1, John is told what was happening. After those things were voiced, they would have been PAST.

To save time, we’re going to jump to chapter 4:

Revelation 4:1 ‘…After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

I know, I know, you’re saying this book cannot be this easy …

… God is trying to tell you, YES, THIS BOOK IS THIS EASY.

BELIEVE ME (GOD). HAVE FAITH IN ME (GOD).

For that UNBELIEVING person out there, that ONLY believes what is said in the AKJV, check this out.

Revelation 1:19 ‘…Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Revelation 4:1 ‘…After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

BELIEVE

So, we have just identified:

Chapter 1 is the past. Chapter 4 is the future. Therefore because of self-elimination, chapter 2 and 3 are happening in the present.

Chapters 2 and 3 are the letters to the seven (7) churches.

There were seven churches where the letters were addressed and sent to.

However, we would have to be stupid, if we didn’t realize there were more than seven churches in existence when John was told to write these letters.

Seven in the Bible, is written meaning ‘completion’ or ‘perfection (or in this case ALL).’

Given to us by google.com:

The number seven can represent a full and complete world, or perfection and completeness. For example, the seven days of creation and the seven days of the week.

In Scripture, seven often symbolizes completion or perfection. Genesis tells us that God created the heavens and the Earth in six days, and, upon completion, God rested on the seventh day.

Remember those last six words used above …

God rested on the seventh day.

We are going to end this lesson right here and we will pick it back up, starting with those six words again.

I love every one of y’all. I pray and hope each one of you has a blessed day. See you again tomorrow morning.

Always remember to keep on studying the Word. God gave us the Word to protect us from all that could damage us that is found in this world. Put on the Armor that God has given us to help protect us every day. (Ephesians 6 – the Armor of God)

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

Grace – OT / NT

Thursday 111424

Don’t let me or my writings influence or scare you in any way, instead, allow me to be used as a vessel to open the Word, just a little bit, and hopefully, together we are going to read and study His Word, and let God teach us what He wants us to hear.

So, as we work through our study, we MUST remember the two ground rules:

1st we’re only going to read and follow the words that we can find in the Holy Bible that are meant for us today.

2nd we’re only going to take away from this study, what we put into it. We need to open our Bible and read it every day. We need to teach ourselves what is the truth and arm ourselves against all the lies that we are confronted with every day.

Here are the verses we will be using in tonight’s study:

Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 5:17, 15:24-28; Ephesians 2:1-22.

So, let’s begin …

This study tonight is going to be an arm-wrestling match. Let me explain. When Jesus walked this earth, He came to fulfill the Old Testament promises.

Here are some readings …

Isaiah 7:14 ‘…Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel…’ KJV (King James Version.

Matthew 5:17 ‘…Do not think that I came to do away with or undo the Law [of Moses] or the [writings of the] Prophets; I did not come to destroy but to fulfill…’ AMP (The Amplified Bible)

This verse in Isaiah has been estimated to have been written somewhere in the 7th century before the birth of Christ, between 640 and 609 BCE.

The Old Testament is full of the prophesy of Jesus.

Matthew 5:17 is part of the Sermon on the Mount that Jesus spoke around 28 A.D.

God’s promise of GRACE to us Gentile’s didn’t happen until Saul was on his way to Damascus to capture the early church believers and take them prisoners and back to Rome.

Our promise of GRACE from God to us Gentile’s, was after Jesus was crucified.

The dating for Jesus’ crucifixion is estimated to be around 28 – 29 A.D.

The dating for the stoning death of Stephen was 32 – 34 A.D.

The Date of the vision when Jesus came to Saul on the road to Damascus was 34 – 36 A.D.

Our promise for GRACE has been estimated to have been made between the years 34 – 36 A.D.

Jesus did not come to save us Gentile’s, but He did come to teach us all, Jews and Gentile’s about FAITH.

In these next verses, we can see that Jesus came, only for the House of Israel, the Jew; but by continuing to read, we can see how Jesus healed the Gentile woman because of her FAITH, and it didn’t matter what her religion was.

Matthew 15

vs24 ‘…But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel…’

vs25 ‘…Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me…’

vs26 ‘…But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs…’

vs27 ‘…And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table…’

vs28 ‘…Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour…’ KJV (King James Version)

Taken from a newer version …

vs24 ‘…But He answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel…’

vs25 ‘…Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, Lord, help me…’

vs26 ‘…But He answered and said, It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs…’

vs27 ‘…And she said, Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table…’

vs28 ‘…Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire. And her daughter was healed from that very hour…’ NKJV (New King James Version)

We have been given GRACE by God Himself, to allow us entry into an Everlasting Life for eternity.

The entire chapter 2 of Ephesians is a joy to read.

vs1 ‘…Remember how you lived before. You did wrong things and bad things. As a result, you were dead in your spirits…’

vs2 ‘…You lived in a bad way, like the people who belong to this world. You were obeying Satan, who rules the powerful spirits in the air. Those spirits are working now in everyone who refuses to obey God…’

vs3 ‘…At one time, all of us lived like those people. We did whatever bad things our bodies wanted to do. If our thoughts made us want to do something, we did it. Because we were like that, God was angry with us. He should have punished us, just like everyone else…’

vs4 ‘…But God is very good and kind! He loved us very much…’

vs5 ‘…Because of our sins, we were dead in our spirits. But God gave us a new life, because we are united with Christ. Yes, God has saved you because he is so kind…’

vs6 ‘…Also, God raised us up with Christ, so that we now sit with Christ in heaven. God has done this for us because we are united with Christ Jesus…’

vs7 ‘…He wanted to show, for all future time, how very kind he is. He has helped us so much because of what Christ Jesus has done…’

vs8 ‘…When you believed in Jesus, God saved you because he is very kind. You could not save yourselves, but that is God’s gift to you…’

vs9 ‘…He has not saved you as a result of any good things that you have done. So nobody has any reason to be proud about it…’

vs10 ‘…It is God who has worked in us to make us what we are. He has given us a new life because we are united with Christ Jesus. He saved us so that now we can do good things in our lives. Those are good things that he has already prepared for us to do…’

Christ has brought Jews and Gentiles together

vs11 ‘…So you who were born as Gentiles should remember what you were like before. Jews insulted you because nobody has circumcised you. They themselves are proud that men have circumcised them as God’s people…’

vs12 ‘…At that time, you did not know about Christ, God’s special Messiah. You did not belong to the nation of Israel’s people. You did not know about the good things that God had promised to his people. You were living in this world with nothing good to hope for. You were living without God’s help…’

vs13 ‘…You were far away from God. But now, God has brought you near to himself, because you belong to Christ Jesus. That is possible because of Christ’s death on the cross as a sacrifice…’

vs14 ‘…It is Christ himself who has brought peace between Jews and Gentiles. He has brought those two groups together, to be one group. He has destroyed the things that made them separate. As a result, they are no longer enemies…’

vs15 ‘…When his body died on the cross, Christ took away the power of the Jewish laws and rules. In that way, he made the two groups join together as one new group of people. As a result, he caused them to have peace…’

vs16 ‘…As a single group, Christ brought Jews and Gentiles back to God. He stopped them from hating each other. He did this by his death on the cross…

vs17 ‘…When Christ came, he told people God’s good news about peace. He told that message to you Gentiles, who were far away from God. He also told it to us Jews, who were near to God…’

vs18 ‘…Now we all have received the same Holy Spirit, because of what Christ has done for us. As a result, we can all come near to God the Father…’

vs19 ‘…So now, you Gentiles are not strangers among God’s people any more. You belong to the group of God’s people that he rules. You belong to God’s family, as all God’s people do…’

vs20 ‘…You are like a house that God is building for himself. God’s apostles and his prophets are like the foundation under the house. Jesus Christ is like the most important stone in the house…’

vs21 ‘…He makes the whole building stand together strongly. In that way, all God’s people together become like a special house that belongs to the Lord…’

vs22 ‘…Because you belong to Christ, God is building you all together to become his house. That is where God lives by his Spirit…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

The arm wrestling in study is from the Bible itself. There are writings in the Word that were meant solely for the House of Israel, the Jews (the Old Testament). There are writings in the Word showing that Jesus came only for the House of Israel, the Jews (the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), however in these books there are lesson showing us Gentile’s the strength of having FAITH in Jesus. And then finally, there are the writings of Paul, the apostle chosen by Jesus Himself to teach us Gentiles.

Paul is our teacher (us Gentile’s). He is the apostle that Jesus chose for us Gentile’s. The remainder of the Bible is there for a purpose, but it isn’t for us to follow since we are not from the House of Israel. I have used the analogy that the Old Testaments and the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), are to us Gentile’s, a road map, a guide through this world’s history. It is to teach us about the poor decisions made by earlier generations of people and to help keep us from following their bad decisions.

It is kind of funny to me, the history of the United States is being torn down and destroyed by individuals that do not even know what knowledge is available from documented facts in history. This knowledge is NOT meant to be destroyed; it is there so the bad is NEVER followed again.

It would have been amazing to me to have been on the face of this earth back when Jesus’ ministry was here on this earth with us; but, because I am a Gentile, in Jesus’ day, I would have had limited access to Him.

But today, in the Days of Grace, given to us by God Himself, I am free to spend my entire day in His Word searching those mysterious messages that have been left for those of us that continue to inquire them.

Open your Bibles and study the Word that God has made available to us. Jesus came to this earth to destroy the religion that prevented His chosen, LIFE because they listened to what other men chose to be everyone’s future. Learn from the past and don’t allow someone else to control your life; don’t allow someone else to keep you girdled into walking a line that they want followed. Open the Bible for yourself and learn what Jesus has done for you. Be a witness for Him and help others see what has been written down, documented history is only revealed when it is seen with our own eyes.

I love you all. Jesus loves you ALL.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen.

what do I need to BELIEVE to be saved – part2

Wednesday 111324

Ephesians 2:8-9 ‘…For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s GIFT, so that no one can boast about it…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

Together, you and I, let’s open the Word and study what we’ve ALL been freely given. Use me to help you open up your Bible and search what God wants for us to hear. We’re only going follow what we find written in the Word that pertains to us and hopefully from what we find, we will be able to use it in our lives, not only for ourselves but hopefully for those that we love also.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Acts 26:14-18, 9:11-15; Galatians 1:11-12, :16-18; Luke 12:10; Matthew 12:30-32; Mark 3:28-30.

2 Timothy 3

vs16 ‘…All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness…’

vs17 ‘…so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

This passage found in the Bible tells us that ALL Scripture in the Bible, has been Inspired by God. There are many that don’t read any of the writings by the apostle Paul. There are those that make statements that the writings of Paul should be removed from the Bible. These people, flat out do not believe the writings from Paul are significant to us today.

I am sorry for these people because the writings found in Paul, are the only writings that can get a Gentile Believer into heaven.

Jesus, after He had ascended into heaven, He chose Paul to be the apostle to the Gentile nation.

Acts 26

vs14 ‘…And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks…’

vs15…And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest…’

vs16 ‘…But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee…’

vs17 ‘…delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee…’

vs18 ‘…to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus continues informing us of ‘HIS’ choice for our apostle.

Acts 9

vs11 ‘…And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street, which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth…’

vs12 ‘…and hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight…’

vs13 ‘…Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem…’

vs14 ‘…and here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name…’

vs15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Jesus chose Saul / Paul to be His chosen vessel to teach us Gentiles about God.

My loudest question to every church in the world today, what makes you think you can pick and choose who you want us to study when Jesus Himself, picked Paul. Why do you think it isn’t important that you’d explain to your congregation that you’ve made this decision for them?

The above passages taken from Acts, were all written by Luke. These biblical scholars will use the writings from the gospel that Luke wrote, these scholars will quote from the book of Acts, but Romans through Philemon they feel should be removed from the Bible.

It has been remarked that Paul implied in His writings that for three (3) years after his conversion that he was taught by Jesus Himself.

Similar to the original twelve apostles, where they spent three (3) years living and traveling with Jesus during His earthly ministry, Paul spent three (3) years being taught by Jesus.

Galatians 1

vs11 ‘…For I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is not of human invention…’

vs12 ‘…For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Galatians 1

vs16 ‘…to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood…’

vs17 ‘…neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Here is an easier version to read the above verses.

Galatians 1

vs16 ‘…He decided to show his Son clearly to me, so that I could tell the Gentiles about him. When God chose me to do that, I did not talk about it with any person…’

vs17 ‘…Nor did I go to Jerusalem to see Christ’s apostles there. Those men were already his apostles before I was. But I did not go to talk to them. Instead, I went immediately to the region of Arabia. Later, I went back to the city of Damascus…’

vs18 ‘…Then, three years later, I did go to Jerusalem. I stayed there with Christ’s apostle Peter for 15 days, so that he could teach me…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

Paul’s Gospel was different from the other gospels found in the Bible. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were all written before Jesus had been crucified. This is one of the major differences that can be seen right at the onset.

A writing by the famous Rev. Graham:

Only one sin that can’t be forgiven is on God’s list – and that is the sin of rejecting Him and refusing His offer of forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ.

This alone is the unforgiveable sin, because it means we are saying that the Holy Spirit’s witness about Jesus is a lie.

Luke 12:10 ‘…And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

In the dictionary: the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things; profane talk. But other than by using profanity, sacrilege and disrespect.

Blasphemy, in a religious sense, refers to great disrespect shown to God or to something Holy, or to something said or done that shows this kind of disrespect.

When the Word tells us one thing and we write all of that knowledge off as useless and we instead believe what we want to believe in, we are committing blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

In simpler terms, by us UNBELIEVING what we’ve been told in the Word, we are committing a sin that is unforgiveable by God.

In the other synoptic gospels, basically the same writing is found:

Matthew 12

vs30 ‘…The one who is not with Me is against Me; and the one who does not gather with Me scatters…’

vs31 ‘…Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven…’

vs32 ‘…And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Mark 3

vs28 ‘…Truly I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons and daughters of men, and whatever blasphemies they commit…’

vs29 ‘…but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin…’

vs30 ‘…because they were saying, He has an unclean spirit…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

So, I have to ask, you religious leaders out there in our churches today, you pastors that feel God has gifted you with more than the average normal member in your church congregation, why is it that your sermon for this week is not telling your members you’re keeping Scripture from them?

Why do you feel ashamed of the thought of at least allowing them to chose for themselves and see what they can find out by reading the Word for themselves?

I pray and I’ve been asking for several years now that somehow, someway, Jesus would get every individual alive today, the opportunity to open a Bible for themselves and read what we have been promised.

I need to ask every one of you, after you have read His Scripture and read of the wonders that He has promised to us, that you would shout at the top of your lungs and let others have the opportunity to hear how they need to read the Word for themselves.

Keep your Bibles near and always ready to be opened and listened to. I love every one of you all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

what do I need to BELIEVE so I am saved – part1

Tuesday 111224

Matthew 6:33; Mark 1:14; Luke 9:2; John 3:3; Acts 9:3-6, :20, :10-15, 28:23; John 3:13-18; Romans 2:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8.

Back when Jesus walked this earth in His earthly ministry, all He ever spoke of was ‘the Kingdom of God.’

Matthew 6:33 ‘…But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Mark 1:14 ‘…Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Luke 9:2 ‘…And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

John 3:3 ‘…Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

There was a man known as Saul of Tarsus, he was a Pharisee who persecuted Christians after the crucifixion of Jesus. Saul was born in Tarsus and studied under Gamaliel in Jerusalem. He was a Roman citizen and learned tent making, a lucrative trade in the region. Saul was zealous in his faith and approved of the stoning of Stephen. He was determined to eradicate the new Christian church, known as ‘The Way.’

On his way to Damascus to capture the newly formed Christian church members, Saul was confronted by Jesus.

Acts 9

vs3 ‘…Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him…’

vs4 ‘…and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me…’

vs5 ‘…And he said, who are You, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus whom you are persecuting…’

vs6 ‘…but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

In fact, after Saul’s conversion, he even spoke of ‘the Kingdom of God’ and spoke how Jesus was the ‘Son of God.’

Acts 9:20 ‘…And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he (Jesus) is the Son of God…’

Jesus chose Saul to be ‘the’ apostle to the Gentile people. This is the hardest thing for me to accept with our churches today in the 21st century. Jesus ‘CHOSE’ Saul to teach us Gentiles about God but there are so many churches today that don’t even read from the writings of Paul.

Saul was chosen by Jesus to be the vessel that would teach us about our future. Teach us so we could be accepted into the promise of having Everlasting Life after we die.

Jesus chose and there are those that turn their backs and look elsewhere, in other places.

Acts 9

vs10 ‘…Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Here I am, Lord…’

vs11 ‘…And the Lord said to him, get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying…’

vs12 ‘…and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight…’

vs13 ‘…But Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints in Jerusalem…’

vs14 ‘…and here he has authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name…’

vs15 ‘…But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

The Jewish people were very skeptical of the words that came from the mouth of Saul. Can you just imagine? They questioned if Saul was going to tie them up and turn them in.

Maybe for this very reason I should cut our churches today some slack since they too, look with questions towards Saul.

Saul also went by the name of Paul. The average, normal Jewish citizen, didn’t trust the words that came from his mouth.

Acts 28:23 ‘…So the Jewish leaders in Rome chose a day to meet again with Paul. When that day arrived, a large number of Jews came to the house where Paul was staying. Paul talked to them from the morning until the evening. He explained his message about the kingdom of God. He showed them what Moses and the other prophets had written in the Bible. He tried to show them that Jesus was God’s special Messiah…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

These Jewish believers were taught that they needed to believe that Jesus was their promised Messiah, sent by God to fulfill the promise that was made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Jews forefathers.

This following passage is before Jesus was crucified, though.

Today in the 21st century, if we believe in the same thing that the Jewish people were expected to believe, us Gentiles are going to miss out of this promise that God has given us.

Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, in a private, rooftop meeting between the two men.

John 3

vs13 ‘…And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven…’

vs14 ‘…And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up…’

vs15 ‘…that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life…’

vs16 ‘…For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life…’

vs17 ‘…For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved…’

vs18 ‘…He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

How many people today recite John 3:16 and believe it fully in their hearts. My own grandson was so proud when he memorized the verse for his class at their church.

I love my grandson, I love all of you, but that verse is not going to save a Gentile today in the 21st century. That verse was never meant to be a verse for a Gentile believer.

I am speaking today to ALL of the Gentile people out there in this world:

WE HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT WE MUST BELIEVE IN.

Your churches should have been teaching this many years ago.

This is why I tell people, pick the Bible up for yourself and read what has been written for you.

Romans 2

vs14 ‘…For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves…’

vs15 ‘…which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another…’

vs16 ‘…in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Not the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John but the Gospel that the apostle Paul wrote for us Gentiles.

It is this Gospel that we must believe in.

1 Corinthians 15

vs1 ‘…Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand…’

vs2 ‘…by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain…’

vs3 ‘…For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures…’

vs4 ‘…and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Jesus Christ came to this earth to fulfill the promises that God made to the forefathers of the Jewish religion.

But for us Gentiles, to ONLY believe that Jesus Christ is the promised ‘Messiah’ promised to the Jewish people, that single belief is not our promise for everlasting life.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

We can get this Gift that God has promised and given to us, ONLY through our FAITH, which is believing in Him (Jesus Christ).

And what we must BELIEVE is that Jesus Christ, used as a sacrifice for ALL mankind. He DIED, He was BURIED and on the third day He was Risen back to Life by God.

This lesson is too heavy to be finished in one night. We’ll continue tomorrow and get further into the promise God made for us.

I love ALL of y’all. You never have to question my love or especially Jesus’ love for each one of us. He loves us more than we will ever know.

Keep your Bible near and study as much of the Word as you can. Open your mouths and spread the wisdom you have found out about our God while you’ve been studying the Word. Never be afraid of what you are going to find out.

Open your Bibles and read the Word for yourself.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen

KEEP your eyes on Jesus

Monday 111124

Proverbs 3:5-8; Hebrews 12:2; Ephesians 1:18-21; Romans 12:2, 10:17; Mark 5:34; Luke 7:50, 17:19, 18:42; Ephesians 2:8; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 5:8-9, 39-40.

In my attempt to spread the Word, to the people in the 21st century, I am going to start and post a new lesson every morning, seven (7) days a week, starting today.

Beginning this morning, Monday November 11, 2024, I am going to post a new lesson every day, through Easter, Sunday April 20, 2025.

As of this morning, I am posting on eleven (11) different websites.

So, before we begin today’s lesson, allow me to speak a little on what I have been observing with myself and my writings.

Attempting to write multiple lessons a day, I’ve found where it seemed I was just copying verses taken from BibleGateway and pasting them on a paper to fill its pages.

I observed that I was posting verses taken from the Word, but I was forgetting to listen to what Jesus was telling me and in what direction I needed to go.

Proverbs 3

vs5 ‘…Trust in the Lord completely. Do not think that you understand things well enough for yourself…’

vs6 ‘…Whatever you are doing, remember that the Lord is with you. Then he will show you the right way to go…’

vs7 ‘…Do not think that you are already wise enough. Obey the Lord and refuse to do evil things…’

vs8 ‘…If you do that, it will make you healthy and strong…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

We must always remember to keep ourselves buried deep into the Word and follow what God has freely given to us.

I also would like to remind you that the Old Testament was written for the Israelites to follow. For us Gentile’s, the Old Testament is like a road map that has been passed down to us. It has not been written for us to follow but rather, it is a chart, showing us which directions, we should and should not follow so that we do not end up in the same mess that they (the Israelites) did.

The most important part of these verses is in:

vs5a ‘…Trust in the Lord completely…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

Five words that are VERY enlightening to any reader. To a believer, these are five words that should never be forgotten.

Hebrews 12:2

vs2 ‘…We must keep our eyes on Jesus, who leads us and makes our faith complete. He endured the shame of being nailed to a cross, because he knew later on he would be glad he did. Now he is seated at the right side of God’s throne…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

Today’s lesson, maybe should begin with us keeping our eyes on Him, keeping our ears open so that we will be able to hear the message that he has for us to see and hear.

Ephesians 1

vs18 ‘…I pray that God will bring light into your minds. Then you will understand about the many good things that he has prepared for you. You know that you will receive those things because he has chosen you to be his people. God has prepared very valuable things for you in heaven…’

vs19 ‘…You will also know how very powerful God is. He uses that power to help us now, as we trust in Christ. God’s power is greater than anything we could ever know…’

vs20 ‘…He used that power to raise Christ, so that he became alive again after his death. Then he gave Christ a place to sit at his right side in heaven…’

vs21 ‘…There, Christ rules over every other ruler and leader. He rules over everything else that has authority. He is greater than any power which people respect. That is true for the rulers of this world now, and also the rulers of the world that will come…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

In the Bible, we are taught one of the more important lessons that we will possibly, ever hear …

Romans 12:2 ‘…Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

We are not to conform to things found in this world. The word ‘conform’ means to comply or to accept. So, we are not to comply or accept the things of this world. The news alone is one of the more disgusting things happening around us today. Do yourself a favor, take your eyes off what this world is presenting in front of you, keep your focus on Jesus. Open the Bible and keep your eyes on Him. Sit back and relax and rely on His promises.

Next, maybe the most powerful lesson we can learn from Jesus’ ministry for ALL of us humans, our FAITH in Jesus is what is going to save us.

Romans 10:17 ‘…No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

So, keep on reading the Word.

Mark 5:34 ‘…And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague…’ KJV (King James Version)

Luke 7:50 ‘…And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace…’ KJV (King James Version)

Luke 17:19 ‘…And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole…’ KJV (King James Version)

Luke 18:42 ‘…And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee…’ KJV (King James Version)

Many more times Jesus proclaimed that it was because of a person’s faith that healed them. We have that same promise today … it is our faith in Jesus Christ that can save us.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NIV (New International Version)

Who doesn’t like a gift. Especially if it is free. Here we are told that this GRACE that God has given us is a gift from Him to us. Nowhere will you read where you need to do something to earn this gift, God gave it to us, freely.

There are men in this world that want you to pay for this gift, you need to come to their weekly church service to attain this gift, but the thing is, they didn’t give us this gift … God did, and it was for just believing in Him.

This next verse is going to open this study in another direction, so before we end this bit on hearing this message, let’s sit right here and study this word for just a little bit more.

The Bible is God’s written Word.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

vs16 ‘…All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living…’

vs17 ‘…so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

In several other translations, it is written …

vs16

‘…All Scripture is God-breathed…’ NIV (New International Version)

‘…All Scripture is inspired by God…’ NLT (New Living Translation)

‘…All Scripture is breathed out by God…’ ESV (English Standard Version)

These words found in the Bible, are essentially, words taken directly from God’s own mouth.

When we read the Word, we are hearing God speaking directly to us.

So going back to Romans 10:17 ‘…So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God…’ KJV (King James Version)

The Bible is coming right out and telling us, that we need to hear His message.

Now ask yourself, do you want to trust your future by hearing another person reading the Word to you along with adding their own opinion or would you feel more comfortable reading the Word for yourself and forming your own opinion?

Let me include myself to this list of people that may add an opinion but let me remind you that this is why I have always told people for years to open the Bible up for yourself and read what God has planned for you.

You don’t need me to read the Bible to you and then offer my opinion of what has just been read. You don’t need to hear some other person’s voice either.

Open the Word yourself and listen to God speak to you, Himself.

Jesus only talked about reading the Scriptures one time in His ministry. It is in John 5; Jesus was at the Bethesda pool on purpose to heal a man that had been at the pool for 38 years.

There is a series on television called ‘the Chosen.’

I remember the first time I watched the show, I did not get anything from it.

But, with that being said, the 2nd time I watched the show, I found myself watching the Bible unfolding right in front of me, on a screen that I rarely ever turned on because, in my own opinion, the language and plots had all turned into justifying what is seen in this world that we live in today (LGBTQ, politics, false news reporters, nudity, people swearing every other word, just to hear themselves swear …).

Season 2, episode 4 (The Perfect Opportunity), is on Jesus going to the pool to heal a man that was crippled since his youth, 38 years earlier.

Just imagine, a man crippled since his youth, one day is confronted by Jesus and he was told …

John 5:8-9

vs8 ‘…Then Jesus said to him, Stand up! Pick up your mat and walk…’

vs9 ‘…The man became well immediately. He picked up his mat and he walked…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

A pharisee, standing at the pool seen the man picking up his mat, on the sabbath, and not noting the miracle that had just occurred in front of the pharisee’s eyes, he was more interested in the manmade rule of not working on the sabbath more than he was looking at the miracle in front of him and realizing who it was that was performing the miracle.

Jesus remarked to the pharisee, it is recorded in John 5:39-40

vs39 ‘…You study carefully what the Bible teaches. You think that those books will give you life with God. And it is true, those books do speak about who I am…’

vs40 ‘…But then you refuse to come to me so that you may have life with God…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

The ‘Chosen’ series allows the viewer to see the Bible present itself, right in front of the person watching.

I feel, the person that reads the Bible, is familiar of Jesus’ ministry when He walked this earth.

This study really is not on the ‘CHOSEN,’ but the tv show shows the struggle the Jewish people had to live like during the times when Jesus walked this earth.

The tv show shows how prejudice the pharisee’s were towards Jesus and how they and their religion, influenced every waking moment in the Jewish persons daily life.

But for me, this struggle gave me the strength to search for more. I have been waiting for the series to go into more detail on the apostle Paul. I cannot wait.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen.

John 1:17; Matthew 28:19; Genesis 1:1; Romans 1:20; Revelation 20:22; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

So, I am right now posting my study on ten (10) different sites on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings:

In my attempt to spread the MESSAGE of Jesus to the people in the 21st century, instead of releasing ten (10) different papers a week, I’m going to try to release one (1) paper on ten (10) different sites.

It’s been ten years plus, since I left a church due to what I consider the wrong people being allowed to teach what they believed to be true.

I think our churches today need to teach their congregations how to read the Word. NUMBER ONE priority.

I know so many pastors today are busy writing or buying sermons online that speak of their family or friends that have had things happen to them that were either positive or negative in their lives but, why not just read the Bible and teach about the stories God has already told us, why is there the need to write new or maybe why does it have to be better?

I know this because I wrote those sermons too.

At this church I was attending, there was an individual that believed that Jesus was not God, and his mind was set that he was going to change everyone else in the church to believe the same that he believed in.

What was so unfortunate, the senior pastor in the church just sat in the back, kept quiet and watched what those around him said.

I was an associate pastor at the church and the Bible study teacher. There were some mornings when I gave the sermon, but the majority of the time the senior pastor did that. It kept getting harder and harder, just to step foot inside the church because I never knew for sure what was going to be spoken on that particular day.

One Sunday, this younger man gave the sermon to the church, it was a strange sermon. I remember there was the question over the placement of a comma in a verse; another was over how a woman was to completely and totally ‘submit’ to her husband and finally the comment that Jesus wasn’t God, and he had verses taken from out of the Bible that proved his statement.

It was on that day, when enough was enough. I couldn’t, any longer, be a part of a church that I didn’t commit to giving my entire self to. My faith in God, believe it or not, was strengthened, that day, for me.

It was because of that one hurdle, that I was unable to get over and accept, that not only kept me from ever going back into that church building, ever again, it also began allowing me to see just how much UNBELIEF there was in our 21st century churches throughout the United States, if not, the entire world.

I could go even further; most every church today is so far away from following what the apostle Paul was trying to teach us back in the 1st century and actually teach us what the Word is telling us and instead, these churches were telling stories what they wanted to tell. They would change the words in a story from inside the Bible, change the words to fit around their lives and that would be the sermon for that Sunday.

In the years since I’ve left that church, I’ve found it very hard to get involved in other churches because I keep seeing red flags that caution me regarding the sin of UNBELIEF.

The man from this church I used to attend, I think he used the King James Version which was printed back in 1611.

Back then, characters that were used in the English language, printing back in 1611, were not the same characters that we see being used today.

Here is an example comparing the same verse, in two (2) different versions from different time periods.

John 1:17

‘…For the Law was giuen by Moses, but grace and trueth came by Iesus Christ…’ KJV1611

‘…For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Is this what the young man was referring to … (smh) … it really doesn’t matter anymore, I’ve moved on. This church is nothing more than a memory.

But in most cases, this is the defense that most atheists settle with. Since an atheist doesn’t actually read the Bible and listen to God speak through the Words, they instead are looking at words trying to find fault with the teachings in the Word.

An atheist looks for a problem and then sets out to disprove. However, the day will come when they will be held accountable for the damage they have caused in God’s plan of salvation. On that particular day, those people will have to give an answer.

The Bible displays the ‘Godhead’ several times throughout Scripture. That is, if you want to find it. If a person doesn’t want to find it, they’ll just look in the opposite direction (in this case, they’ll look down).

Matthew 28:19 ‘…Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

This is a verse displaying the ‘Trinity.’ (the TRIUNE God).

In Genesis 1:1, the very first verse in the Bible:

‘…In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

That word used in the verse, ‘GOD’ in the original Hebrew Bible is ‘ELOHIM.’

‘…Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve’et ha’aretz…’ transliterated Hebrew

Elohim is the plural of ʾĔlōah (אֱלוֹהַּ) and means ‘Gods’ or ‘Godhead.’

In Christianity, ‘Godhead’ refers to the essence of God, which is made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity is considered to be one of the central Christian affirmations about God.

Romans 1:20 ‘…For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Over the years, I’ve shown how different English versions do nothing other than allow the reader to understand what a word means since they use that word every day when they talk.

A year or so ago, a man needed to have proof in the words used in Scripture and it had to be the AKJV, the KJV from the 1611 English Bible.

The word that was talked about was the word ‘soon’ and there was this elderly man that wouldn’t believe it unless it was shown in the AV1611.

Turns out the word soon is not used in the AV1611, instead it uses the word ‘quickly.’

Revelation 20:22

‘…He which testifieth these things saith, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

This ‘QUICKLY’ was nearly 2000 years ago … how ‘quick’ is QUICKLY in the AKJV?

Here is a more modern version, it may be easier to understand what is being said.

‘…Jesus is the one who says that all of this is true. Now he says, yes, I am coming soon. Amen! Come, Lord Jesus…’ ERV (Easy-to-Read Version)

Mankind’s problem, and I’m not talking Jew or Gentile, young or old, AV1611, AKJV, KJV, NKJV or ERV; if the message was not acceptable by God Himself, He’d never allow it to be left open for a believer in Him, to see.

There are those in the United States that will not believe anything unless it’s found in a KJV of the Bible.

There are Rabbi’s in this world, that won’t believe anything unless it was written in the original Bible …

The thing is that the Pharisees and the Sadducees, they were Jews that read the very original scrolls daily, and they still didn’t believe what was written in the Word.

Maybe this is why the ‘chosen people’ aren’t so special any longer because of their UNBELIEF, maybe we need some of us to start BELIEVING in the WORDS God gave us and forget about the words for next weeks sermon and just READ THE WORD.

2 Corinthians 13:14 ‘…The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Another example, taken from the Word showing us the ‘Godhead’ the TRIUNE God, the TRINITY.

I am as unsure on our churches in this country as I am unsure our kids are learning what they need to learn in our schools, here in America.

Our GREED and evil have brought this country down to its knees. Our kids today, they have no idea what it means to live in the United States of America.

Our country is in for a rude awakening, I really think.

Years ago, every third word out of my mouth was ‘ARE YOU READY.’

This could be very appropriate for today:

ARE YOU READY

I wish I could speak into every ear and have the person listen just for a minute. This is why every one of us need to speak up to those around us.

We need to tell people in this country to:

WAKE UP

Get over the fact that you were lied to, yesterday. You were ripped off, yesterday. You had to file unemployment, yesterday. You got laid off, yesterday. You were divorced, yesterday.

GET OVER IT

Begin your sayings with:

TODAY …

I found Jesus. I know what my plan is.

Read the Bible and begin to find out the truth. Read the Bible and learn about all the lies that you’ve been told in the past. Take the time to realize all the lies that you believed, as if they were true.

Keep your Bibles open and read the Word God has given us so we can make it in this life we’re in. Read the Word that He wants you to hear, because it’s the truth. Keep your Bibles open and stop listening to the lies that are going on all around you every day. Read what God wants you to hear.

I love y’all … do yourself, a very big favor, and YOU LOVE YOURSELF, ALSO.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen InHIM. ><)))o>

Good News

Wednesday 110624

Galatians 1:1-24; 2 Timothy 4:2-4; 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

So, let’s begin …

The entire chapter of Galatians 1 should be taught and followed today.

vs1 ‘…This letter is from me, Paul. I am an apostle of Jesus Christ. It is not any group of people or any one person that has given that authority to me. It is Jesus Christ himself who has chosen me to serve him. And God our Father, who raised Jesus to become alive again after his death, has also sent me…’

vs2 ‘…All the believers who are here say ‘hello’ to you. We all send this letter to you. I am writing to you, the people of the churches that are in Galatia…’ Easy English Bible (EASY)

The main reason for Paul writing the letter to the churches in Galatia was that the new members were succumbing to and listening to Judaizing false teachers trying to undermine the central New Testament doctrine of justification by faith. These false teachers were specifically teaching that Gentiles must first become Jewish proselytes and submit to all Mosaic Law before they could become Christians. Paul wrote his letter to counter the teachings by the false teachers, to defend justification by faith alone, and warn the churches in Galatia of dire consequences of abandoning that essential doctrine.

vs3 ‘…I pray that God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ will continue to help you. I pray that they will give you peace in your minds…’

vs4 ‘…Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice because of all the wrong things that we have done. He did that to save us from all the bad things of this world in which we live now. This is what God, our Father, wanted him to do…’

vs5 ‘…God is great and we should praise him for ever. Amen. This is true…’

As I was reading this verse, all I heard was ‘GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME … ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD.’

vs6 ‘…I am very surprised that you are turning away so soon from God. He is the one who chose you to come to him. He did that because Christ is very kind to you. But now you want to accept a different message which some people call good news…’

vs7 ‘…But really, there is no other message from God which is good news. Some people are confusing you. They are trying to change the good news about Christ and make it something different…’

Once again, to me, this act of trying to change the good news about Christ is still going on today in our churches.

Almost every Sunday, pastors, priests and most other teachers speak on anything and everything except teaching the Gospel which was given to us by the apostle Paul.

vs8 ‘…Nobody should ever teach a message that is different from the good news that we taught you. Neither we ourselves, nor even an angel from heaven, should ever teach a different message. If anyone does that, I pray that God would curse him…’

vs9 ‘…We have already said this, but now I will say it again. Do not accept any message that is different from the message that we taught you. If anyone teaches a different message, I pray that God will curse him very strongly…’

vs10 ‘…When I say these things, I am not trying to please people. No, it is God that I want to please. If I only wanted to make people happy, then I would not be a servant of Christ…’

vs11 ‘…The good news that I tell people did not come from any person on earth. I want you to know that, my friends…’

vs12 ‘…Nobody on earth gave it to me. Nobody taught it to me. No, it was Jesus Christ himself who showed it to me clearly…’

vs13 ‘…You know about the things that I did before, when I obeyed the Jewish rules. I caused very much trouble against God’s church. I tried to destroy those people completely…’

vs14 ‘…I obeyed the Jewish rules better than many other Jews who were my friends. I tried very much to obey the ideas that our Jewish ancestors taught…’

vs15 ‘…But God had chosen me to serve him even before I was born. He chose me to be his servant because he is very kind…’

vs16 ‘…He decided to show his Son clearly to me, so that I could tell the Gentiles about him.

I stayed there with Christ’s apostle Peter for 15 days, so that he could teach me…’

vs19 ‘…I did not see any other apostles, except James, who is the Lord’s brother…’

vs20 ‘…God knows that what I am writing to you is completely true…’

vs21 ‘…Later, I went to different places in Syria and Cilicia…’

vs22 ‘…The Christians in the churches in Judea had never met me…’

vs23 ‘…They had only heard people say this about me: This man caused bad trouble against us Christians before. He tried to destroy God’s message about Jesus. But now he himself is telling people the good news about Jesus, so that they believe…’

vs24 ‘…When the believers in Judea heard that, they praised God because of me…’ Easy English Bible (EASY)

This is Galatians 1. The letter was addressed to the churches in Galatia, and probably written around 54 – 55 A.D. from Ephesus. After Paul’s arrival there for a stay of several years on his third missionary journey (Acts 19).

This could be estimated to be about twenty years after the crucifixion of Jesus. Can you believe that things had changed that much? There were those that tried reconfiguring the word to align with their own religious beliefs …

… just as the word is being reconfigured today to align with certain religious churches and their denominations. Trying to regulate the word to fit their lifestyles rather than our lifestyles being changed to fit into what the Word tells us how we are to follow it.

2 Timothy 4

vs2 ‘…Tell God’s message to people. Always be ready to speak God’s message clearly to people, whether they want to listen to you or not. Warn people when they are doing something wrong. Tell them to stop doing wrong things, and explain to them what they ought to do. But be very patient while you teach them what is true…’

vs3 ‘…Do this, because a time will come when people will not listen to God’s true message. Instead, they will want to hear all kinds of new messages that will make them happy. So they will find many teachers for themselves who will tell them what they want to hear…’

vs4 ‘…People will refuse to listen to God’s true message. Instead, they will want to listen to silly stories that are false…’ Easy English Bible (EASY)

I feel, this is every Sunday when individuals speak on the pastor, or the priest at church; how good his / her message was, how great the music was or how nice the interior of the church was.

These are minute things, but these are the ‘TICKLING OF EARS’ spoken about by Paul.

2 Timothy 4

vs3 ‘…For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires…’

vs4 ‘…and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths…’ NASB

vs3 found in other versions …

‘…itching ears…’ ESV (English Standard Version)

‘…an itch to hear what they want to hear…’ CSB (Christian Standard Bible)

‘…an itch to hear something new…’ HCSB (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

‘…an insatiable curiosity to hear new things…’ NET Bible (New English Translation)

‘…For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears…’ KJV (King James Version)

‘…For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers…’ NKJV (New King James Version)

This is just one more reason I tell people, PICK THE BIBLE UP FOR YOURSELF AND READ FOR YOURSELF WHAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN!!!

Why take a chance with your promise of Everlasting Life and rely on what another man tells you?

Read the Word for yourself so you know what we have been told.

Read the Word for yourself so you can notice if there are any lies told to you when you hear an incorrect message.

Read the Word for yourself so that you will be ready for that day when Jesus calls us up into the clouds to meet with Him and to remain in His presence forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:17

‘…After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever…’ NIV (New International Version)

‘…Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever…’ NLT (New Living Translation)

‘…Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord…’ ESV (English Standard Version)

‘…Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord…’ KJV (King James Version)

‘…Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord…’ NKJV (New King James Version)

Read the Bible. Read a version that you are comfortable with. As I do in my papers, I use several different versions so I can compare and make sure I am not being told a lie.

Do you want to get crazy (one of these weeks I’m going to do a paper using it), use the original Hebrew version or the original Greek version. Translate the words yourself and just compare the words with what has already been written in an English translation.

A comment was made by my mom this past week about if we each read the Bible ourselves, we’ll each get a different version of what has been written.

I think that is the point. The Bible has been written for each one of us. There isn’t a specific version that has been called out by God as being the ONLY correct version. Man has done that, but God has never said anything like it before. I’m going to trust God instead of what some ‘man’ thinks is right … I can look back on history and I can see what the pharisees did to God’s Word. A pharisee was just a man. I’ll stick with listening to what God wants me to do.

I love you all. Continue reading about Jesus’ love for each one of us.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen. I am, In HIM. ><)))o>

have you not read …

Monday 110424

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH; and this is not of yourselves, it is a GIFT of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Let’s together, open the Word of God this morning, and study what we have been given. Allow me to help you in your study and search the Bible what God has intended for us to hear.

The verses we are going to study tonight:

Matthew 12:3, :5, 19:4, 21:42; Acts 9:15; Matthew 15:24; Isaiah 40:8; Ephesians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 15:14; Exodus 16:35.

This morning, I have to discuss something that has been troubling me regarding a message I heard about a week ago.

I was on fb and a video popped up that asked the question: do you know what Jesus preached the most of in His ministry?

Matthew 12:3 ‘…But He said to them, have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Matthew 12:5 ‘…Or have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple violate the Sabbath, and yet are innocent…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Matthew 19:4 ‘…And He answered and said, have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Matthew 21:42 ‘…Jesus said to them, Did you never read in the Scriptures, A stone which the builders rejected, This has become the chief cornerstone; This came about from the Lord, And it is marvelous in our eyes…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

These are all questions Jesus asked to the Jews.

Have you ever read the Scripture?

What Scripture?

The only Scripture when Jesus walked on this earth was in the synagogues. Gaurded by the Pharisees and read aloud throughout each and every day …

… and this man, his voice recorded on the video on fb, he apparently understood the Scripture, just as well as those Pharisees did, back 2000 years ago.

The Pharisees missed the part in Scripture, the prophesy about Jesus Christ coming to this earth.

The Pharisees didn’t know about Jesus from the Scripture just as this voice on fb, apparently never read the book of Acts 9:15.

Acts 9:15 where the Ascended Jesus Christ, tells Ananias of His handpicked ‘Chosen Vessel,’ Saul.

Saul to be the apostle to the Gentiles, the kings and the children of Israel.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Where is this verse that people are using here lately, that says we can pick and choose what parts we want to believe out of the Bible?

Where is this verse that tells us we can preach any word we feel like preaching to ‘GOD’s’ people whether it’s true or not?

Who do these pastors, denominations and churches, who do they think they are?

Are they claiming they are wiser than God?

Are they claiming they are better than God?

Are they claiming they know more than God?

People, this is why we MUST open our own Bible and read the words that have been printed on the pages.

To that person out there listening to these pastors and these false prophets spewing lies after lies out onto this world …

… OPEN YOUR OWN BIBLE AND READ WHAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN.

STOP ALLOWING THESE PEOPLE TO LIE TO YOU.

SATAN IS AT THE BASE OF ALL OF THESE LIES.

Here is some truth that is found in the Bible.

Jesus came to this earth to fulfill OT promises that God made to man (the Jews).

Jesus came to this earth for the Jewish person.

Matthew 15:24 ‘…But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘The lost sheep of the house of Israel’ is talking about nothing other than a Jew.

Studying for this paper I have found where certain denominations are claiming that mankind, who have repented, been baptized and come to Christ can be called the house of Israel.

Where in the Word is this verse that tells us we can change what the Word says and make it fit into our lifestyle and what we want to believe in?

People, we have got to stop fitting the Word of God around our lifestyle and start changing our lifestyles to fit into the Word.

The Word is always going to remain the same. It’s not going to go out of style like our fashions here in this world.

It’s not going to be on a revolving screen, changing for a particular day in the week or for a certain monthly event.

The Word of God is forever.

Isaiah 40:8

‘…The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

‘…The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

‘…Yes, grass withers and flowers fade, but the word of our God endures forever…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

‘…Grass quickly dies, and flowers fall to the ground. But God’s promise will be true for ever…’ EASY (Easy English Translation)

Just this past week, I wrote the lesson where the apostle Paul wrote the prophecy that described everything that is going on in this world right now, today.

Paul’s prophecy shows the end time, and we can see it just by looking all around us today.

We don’t have the luxury of sitting back and waiting much longer.

We have got to get on our feet and begin doing what God has told us that He wants for us to do.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

There are some people in this world that just are unable to read the Bible. For whatever reason.

Ephesians 2:8 is written that you have been saved through FAITH.

I am sure when Paul wrote his letter, FAITH wasn’t meant to be about their donkey, and that he would walk twenty miles.

I’m sure Paul didn’t write about how our automobiles in the 21st century could run on water either, instead of gasoline.

FAITH is written to emphasize what do you believe in.

If a person’s FAITH is in knowing that Jesus Died on a cross for every sin that mankind has committed. He (Jesus) was Buried in a tomb and then three (3) days later He was Resurrected from that tomb by God and He Ascended to heaven where He remains to this day. I think an argument could be made that this person’s FAITH is going to save them.

Paul’s Gospel that He taught us is found in 1 Corinthians 15.

This is our promise of life in heaven for eternity.

Verse 2a is our promise:

‘…by which you also are saved …’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

There are many people in this world that make the claim: how can a loving God make people suffer.

According to google.com, the common comment people make about God allowing suffering is ‘If God is all-loving and all-powerful, why does he allow so much pain and suffering in the world?’

Or they’ll say, ‘how can a loving God send us into an Everlasting life of torment?’

Essentially questioning how a benevolent God could create or permit such hardship in the lives of His people.

Exodus 16:35 ‘…The Israelites ate the manna for 40 years, until they had finished their journey in the desert. After those 40 years, they arrived at the edge of Canaan…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Back during the exodus from Egypt, God supplied the Israelites with manna so they could travel and eat and not have to spend their time searching for food.

But the Israelites rebelled against God; they didn’t like the food.

So, fast forward three thousand (3000) years and here is mankind today in the 21st century and man is crying how can a loving God allow His people suffer.

Man has whined, cried and turned their backs on what God has been telling them.

He’s not turning His back on those men; those men, they turned their backs on Him, and they never respected Him or His rules.

Keep your Bibles open and continue to study the Words He has given us.

Read what God has intended for us to know and prepare for.

Get yourself READY.

I love every one of y’all.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen InHIM. ><)))o>

Confess – it should be common sense

2 Timothy 3:16-17; Jonah 1:1-3; Romans 10:8-10, 13-14; Ephesians 2:8; 2 Corinthians 5:7; John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 10:13; Romans 3:21-31; Ephesians 6:16; Romans 12:3.

There are many verses in the Bible that can keep our minds busy with just thinking about the Words that have been written.

There are many books that God has given us to read so we can hear the Words that pertains to our daily lives.

But then there are books that we’ve been given that are there to make us think for ourselves about what has been written. One of those books is:

2 Timothy 3

vs16 ‘…All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness…’

vs17 ‘…so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

All Scripture has been Inspired by God, this is true, we know this because it has been written for us to see … but NOT all Scripture has been meant for us to F-O-L-L-O-W, because those letters aren’t found written anywhere.

The example I use to strengthen and back-up my previous statement is found in the book of Jonah, way back in the Old Testament.

Jonah 1

vs1 ‘…The word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying…’

vs2 ‘…Arise, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it, because their wickedness has come up before Me…’

vs3 ‘…But Jonah got up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. So he went down to Joppa, found a ship that was going to Tarshish, paid the fare, and boarded it to go with them to Tarshish away from the presence of the Lord…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

God isn’t trying to teach us all that at the moment we hear God calling our names, we should run and get on a boat to Spain and run away so we can flea from the presence of God.

That’s simply foolishness.

In fact, we’ve been given the book of Jonah so that we could see what mistakes were made and we would be smart enough NOT to follow down the same road as Jonah did … in fact the entire OT has been written to us to be used as a roadmap, so we don’t make the same mistakes twice.

One of these books filled with usable information for us today in the 21st century, is found in Romans.

Romans 10

vs8 ‘…But what does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart – that is, the word of faith which we are preaching…’

vs9 ‘…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved…’

vs10 ‘…for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

As I do after every lesson, I again will end this lesson by telling ALL of y’all to keep your Bibles near you at all times. Download Bible apps onto your smartphones, tablets and your laptops. Keep the Word of God near you at all times so you are able to pick it up and hear God speaking to you.

But just downloading an app and sitting next to a Bible is not going to save you, my intention has always been, if the Bible is so close to a person, the odds of them opening it up and reading the Word is so much greater than for that person that’s only using the Bible, as a coaster in the evening on their nightstand near their bed.

Here are some more verses from Romans 10:

Romans 10

vs13 ‘…for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved…’

vs14 ‘…How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

We have been given the Word, let your own Bible be your preacher. Let your Bible teach you the Word as it has been written. Don’t put your trust, your future and your LIFE in the hands of another man, read the Word of God for yourself and LIVE.

We now are right near the middle of tonight’s lesson and once again, to me, the GREATEST verse in the Bible.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

As powerful as the word CONFESS is in tonight’s lesson … we always MUST remember that it is because of our FAITH that allows us to confess.

It is our FAITH that keeps us believing in God and in all of the promises that He made to us.

2 Corinthians 5:7 ‘…for we walk by faith, not by sight…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

To me, the most identifiable story that can be found in the Bible regarding to see and NOT to see is the following.

After Jesus was crucified, He appeared in front of the eleven remaining disciples (Thomas was present), and he purposely showed Thomas the holes in his hands, in his feet, and in his side and Thomas replied, ‘my Lord and my God.’

John 20

vs24 ‘…But Thomas, one of the twelve, who was called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came…’

vs25 ‘…So the other disciples were saying to him, we have seen the Lord! But he said to them, Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe…’

vs26 ‘…Eight days later His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, Peace be to you…’

vs27 ‘…Then He said to Thomas, place your finger here, and see My hands; and take your hand and put it into My side; and do not continue in disbelief, but be a believer…’

vs28 ‘…Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God…’

vs29 ‘…Jesus said to him, because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

Jesus is displaying what it means for us to have FAITH.

We believe, not because we can see, but we believe because of the FAITH that we have in Jesus Christ.

The GOOD NEWS that we have been shown in this story is:

We must believe in the things we do not see. This is the test of true faith, and we will be rewarded in heaven.

1 Corinthians 10:13 ‘…Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out…’ GNT (Good News Translation)

God, in His wisdom, gave us the Armor to protect us from the evil things, this world is going to use to attack us with. Things that may not be common to us.

But we should remember, the devil is not to be common to us either. We are to keep away from his evil ways.

Are we going to sometimes fail and fall short in the glory of God … of course we are, there are going to be those times when we fail. But all we have to do is remember that God already knows we’re not going to be able to do it on our own. All we have to do is ask for His help and He will be there.

Romans 3

vs21 ‘…But now we know how to become right with God.

Arm yourself in the comfort, knowing that God has already given us His Armor to wear for our protection.

Read about all of God’s Armor in Ephesians 6.

Ephesians 6:16 ‘…Let your faith be like a shield, and you will be able to stop all the flaming arrows of the evil one…’ CEV (Contemporary English Version)

When we read and study the Word of God, we are putting some of that armor on ourselves.

Romans 12:3 ‘…For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith…’ NASB (New American Standard Bible)

ALL of you, keep your Bibles open and continue to study the Word He has given us. Download Bible apps onto your smartphones, tablets and computers so you can take your Bibles with you everywhere.

I love every one of you. The day is coming when Jesus, Himself will teach us exactly what is all included in that one small simple four-letter word, spelled L-O-V-E.

Jesus, I pray that those ears and eyes, either listening or seeing this message today would be opened to the very fullest and allow Your love to come inside their lives and comfort them. Teach us Jesus. Protect us. We love You. Amen
