Timeline in biblical history – 3

Wednesday 112625 (120225)

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…’ AKJV

Jesus, this morning’s message is going to be important to so many. Allow them Jesus to HEAR the words You have given us and let them have the scales removed from their eyes so they can see. I love You Jesus. Amen.

The Bible verses we’re going to use this morning are:

Acts 9:15; Ephesians 2:8; 2 Timothy 3:16, 2:15; Acts 13:9; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 11:11; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

Okay, we are going to continue in this series:

1-One people.

2-OT (the history of Israel, the Jewish nation).

3- NT for the Church of God, the Body of Christ.

4-Tribulation and the Kingdom.

This morning, we are going to continue in this series:

3- NT for the Church of God, the Body of Christ.

I believe we are shown in Acts 9:15, that God has made a pivotable change, in the way He is going  to SAVE, and He’s determined to SAVE.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

This is the ascended Jesus, speaking to Ananias, a believing Jew and member of the Way, living in Damascus, telling him to GO to the man He has CHOSEN to teach the entire world about Himself.

No where in the Word is any person told to replace the Jew so they can be saved.

In fact, here is what I consider the GREATEST verse that can be found in our Bibles.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by GRACE are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God…’ AKJV

God is offering us, ALL MANKIND, the GIFT of Life if we simply BELIEVE.

So many man-made churches today teach their young children to memorize John 3:16, and that verse can do NOTHING for them today or in their future.

But this verse in Ephesians 2:8, is not even considered, and most times it’s because Paul wrote that book.

Remember the verse I quoted last week:

2 Timothy 3:16 ‘…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…’ AKJV

ALL SCRIPTURE

Even Scripture we might not like. The Word that God gave us, doesn’t say ‘…unless we don’t like it…’, God doesn’t give us that opportunity.

Do you remember the other verse I picked out:

2 Timothy 2:15 ‘…Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ AKJV

Study to show yourself deserving of God’s GIFT.

Before I move to far on, I want to include a very important verse found in the Book of Acts.

Acts 13:9 ‘…But [a]Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him, looked steadily at Elymas…’ AMP (Amplified Bible)

FOOTNOTE

[a] Saul was the apostle Paul’s Jewish (Hebrew) name. As his ministry to Gentiles began he became known by his Roman (Latin) name, Paul.

The apostle Paul, CHOSEN by God, to teach the ENTIRE world.

The apostle Paul wrote thirteen (13) books for us to study and learn from.

From Romans through Philemon, all have been written so that us in the 21st century, could find ourselves ready when God decides to end this world, this life that we know.

The reason I even open my mouth each week and express my opinion is because there are people in this world I want to see saved.

I desire to see them have the opportunity to get more than what they are missing out at the building they attend every week, some twice and others three times in a week.

Move on in your study of the Word.

Follow Jesus’ move.

Jesus didn’t remain in the stable.

Jesus didn’t remain in His earthly ministry.

Jesus didn’t remain on the cross.

Jesus came back to this earth after His Ascension, and He CHOSE Paul to teach us what we MUST know.

Paul wrote a Gospel for us Gentiles to pay attention to:

1 Corinthians 15

vs1 ‘…Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand…’

vs2 ‘…by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain…’

vs3 ‘…For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures…’

vs4 ‘…and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…’ AKJV

Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of ALL sins.

But you MUST believe that He died for you that day on the cross.

If you attend a church and what is preached each week, cannot be found in the books written by Paul, you really need to open up your Bible for yourself and read what God has to offer you.

Most religions today preach how we are to simply replace what the Jew was originally given, and that isn’t written anywhere in the Word.

However, what is written:

Romans 11:11 ‘…I say then, Have they (the Jew) stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy …’ AKJV

God is not giving up on them, He is simply offering us their GIFT, and once again, ALL we have to do is to BELIEVE.

Throughout the OT, what is preached is the earthly kingdom. This promise was solely for the Jew.

Paul teaches us of a heavenly place where we will remain in the presence of Jesus, the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12

vs12 ‘… For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Christ…’

vs13 ‘…For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit…’

vs14 ‘…For the body is not one member, but many…’

vs15 ‘…If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body…’

vs16 ‘…And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body…’

vs17 ‘…If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling…’

vs18 ‘…But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him…’

vs19 ‘…And if they were all one member, where were the body…’

vs20 ‘…But now are they many members, yet but one body…’

vs21 ‘…And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you…’

vs22 ‘…Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary…’

vs23 ‘…and those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness…’

vs24 ‘…For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked…’

vs25 ‘…that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another…’

vs26 ‘…And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it…’

vs27 ‘…Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular…’ AKJV

Here are other verses that Paul speaks on regarding the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:17

Romans 12:4-5

Ephesians 4:12

1 Corinthians 6:15

1 Corinthians 12:13

1 Corinthians 12:27

Ephesians 1:22-23

Colossians 1:18

In essence, Paul uses the Body of Christ metaphor to convey the idea that the Church is a unified entity composed of diverse individuals who are interconnected and interdependent, all united in Christ.

There are many in Christendom that DO NOT believe in a pre-Trib Rapture of Jesus’ church. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 should change a person’s denials.

Jesus calls us up into the clouds where we will remain in His presence, forever.

One of my favorite verses in the Word.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 ‘…then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so, shall we ever be with the Lord…’ AKJV

And for that skeptic that doesn’t believe in the rapture because the word isn’t in the Bible, granted, but neither is the word Trinity, and almost ALL Christendom believes in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

If you choose NOT to use the word rapture, use the words that are found in the Word: CAUGHT UP.

In Greek, the original word used was Harpazo, which was translated into the Latin Vulgate as rapiemur, this is where the English word rapture comes from.

Keep your Bibles open and continue to study the words we are meant to FOLLOW.

I will be back next Wednesday.

I love ALL of y’all.

I am InHIM.><)))o>

Jesus, pray that hearts are opened and minds are unblocked and that Your Word can be easily seen by those that so much desire to be with You they have been led astray by false pretenders, thinking they are preaching Your Word. I love You Jesus. Amen.

112425 (120125)

Yesterday, once again was Sunday … and thousands upon thousands of people attended their man-made religions (churches), thinking they were fulfilling the wants and desires of God.

They are ALL so incorrect.

I found the following on google.com:

The Bible emphasizes that the church is a community of believers, not a building. [1]

1Corinthians 12:27 ‘…Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular…’ AKJV

YOU, the one sitting there reading this lesson.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for YOUR sins … so that YOUR sins were forgiven, not the sins of some building.

Step back for a moment and just think: how many of those thousands of people that went to that man-made religious building (church), yesterday for one (1) hour will not even think about God for another week, not until next Sunday.

God never intended that for any of us, God wants to be with us throughout each and every day.

There are 168 hours in a week.

God never intended that out of the 168 hours, we would only spend 1 hour in His presence, and all would be okay.

Man-made religions that meet on Sunday nights for another hour and those that will meet again on Wednesday nights for another hour … in the weekly 168 hours, God never intended us to spend only three (3) hours in His presence.

For most people, we are going to try and sleep 56 hours throughout every week. We are going to work 40 hours in that week. We’re going to drive to and from work another 2 hours throughout the week.

We have really spent a lot of time throughout our week, in everything but God.

This is why people claim there isn’t any time left for God in our lives.

This is what Satan wants you to believe.

He wants you to think you’re too busy for God.

Satan looks at it like he is winning when you have this attitude about your life.

God gave us His Word so we could be in His presence at any given time.

There are Bible apps that can be downloaded onto our phones, computers and tablets so we can be in God’s Word whenever we have the ability.

When we’re at work on break or at the end of our lunch.

We can download a bible app and have the Bible read to us as we’re driving along, to or from work. Instead of listening to the radio, we can be in the presence of God.

It is up to us whether or not we decide to FOLLOW in Jesus’ footsteps and FOLLOW in Him or if we are going to cop out and follow Satan and his ways.

Every human being is going to be okay if we were to lose the man-made religions, found in this world. It is God that we never want to be without in our lives.

I want to invite you to join me in my pursuit to FOLLOW in Jesus’ footsteps.

I love ALL of y’all.

Thanksgiving ‘25

So, I’ve got to spend another holiday with my wife and mom down in Florida. We were joined this year with our daughter (Brooke), her husband (JW) and their kids: Tripp, Daisy, Braxton and Stetson. My brother lives down in Florida (Albert), and he came over and ate a Thanksgiving dinner with all of us, we ALL got really stuffed and we had a great time.

All vacations must come to an end … and our daily lives must always return back to normal where we can all do what we normally do.

I know Kim and I have a cruise coming up in February and I cannot wait … I really enjoy being out on the water, probably more than anything.

Being on vacation, spending time with my family, allowed me to put the events that are going on in this country behind me. I didn’t watch any daily or nightly news, and I didn’t focus on what was happening all around me. I spent my time mostly focusing on the grandkids that were in front of me and nothing else really mattered.

Today, we are too easily taken away by things that really don’t even involve us. We trouble ourselves because we think we might make a difference but really, there’s nothing that we can do to change anything.

Not one way or the other are our actions going to sway the outcome … God has all of this in His control, all we need to do is keep our focus on Him and let Him show us which way He wants us to go, and we need to FOLLOW Him.

Proverbs 3

vs5 ‘…Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding…’

vs6 ‘…In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths…’ AKJV

We don’t have to worry about what is going on around us … God is in control. We just need to keep our eyes focused on Him and let Him lead us in the way that He wants us to go.

Our lives are so short, we get ourselves caught up in matters that don’t involve us, when instead, the ONLY One that really should matter to us, it seems we  find every excuse that we can imagine to look the other way.

Spend your day today, just thinking about God, keep your eyes fixed on Him, just think of all the ways He is affecting your life.

Appreciate what you have been given. If you see someone next to you that might need a little ‘hands up,’ help them out, offer them what you can.

In the long run,  you will feel so much better about yourself.

Keep God in the front of your mind. Allow Him to sit on your shoulder and lead your way throughout your day.

Let Him lead you in the direction that He needs for you to go.

Philippians 4:7 ‘…And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus…’ AKJV

I love ALL of y’all … and remember, Jesus loves you even more than I can even imagine.

Be blessed.

112125

This morning, I listened to a message on Facebook, that I tried to agree with, but even though there were parts that I agreed with, there was too much that I disagreed with.

The person posted that today there is too much emphasis put on what our churches say that we need to do to be saved, and he also said the Holy Bible that we hold in our hands is not God.

I agree with both of these comments, however, the Bible IS the Word of God.

2Timothy 3:16 ‘…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…’ AKJV

Our Bibles are nothing but Scripture, and this verse in 2Timothy is telling us we have been given it by the inspiration of God.

The man that authored the post is correct, our Bibles are not God, but our Bibles have been given to us and inspired by God, Himself.

There is no other book known by man that has foretold events, things that would take place, centuries in advance.

ONLY God knows what is going to happen in the future.

People can argue the fact if they desire but essentially, they’d be defeated before they start to argue.

There are too many times when this has occurred over history, so I am just going to name a few.

Isaiah predicted that a king, a king named Cyrus would allow Jewish exiles to return to their homeland to rebuild the temple, a prophecy that was fulfilled 150 years later. Not just stating that a king would allow this to happen, but the name of the king was given.

Isaiah 44:28 ‘…I say about King Cyrus, He is my shepherd. He will do what I want him to do. He will give a command about Jerusalem. He will say, Build the city again! He will say about the temple, Build its foundation…’ EASY (Easy English Bible)

One hundred and fifty years in advance Isaiah made this prophecy.

Zechariah predicted that the Messiah would be betrayed for thirty (30) pieces of silver, approximately 500 years before it happened.

Zechariah 11

vs12 ‘…And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So, they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver…’

vs13 ‘…And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Daniel includes a prophecy about conflicts between two (2) empires, which ruled in the regions north and south of the Holy Land after Alexander the Great in Daniel 11.

Mankind is unable to make predictions such as these … for anyone to conclude differently, is an idiot.

I teach for people to READ and study their Bibles because they are simply the words that God has given us in His Word.

Yes, it is true, these words have all been penned by human hands, but in FAITH, I BELIEVE their hands have all been Inspired by God, Himself … His Word tells us that.

Now I do strongly agree with the author of the post on Facebook that too much emphasis is put on man-made religions found in this world today.

These man-made religions call themselves churches, a building built by human hands to celebrate God … but I find that the majority of these, so-called churches do nothing but celebrate themselves … oh, and yes, the offering basket that is in the back before you exit the building.

When Jesus walked this earth, He went to the synagogue … Jesus wasn’t a Christian when He walked this earth, He was raised in a Jewish environment.

After Jesus’ death on the cross, through His CHOSEN VESSEL to teach ALL of us mankind, Jesus started His Church, the Body of Christ.

Two (2) very important verses found in the Bible for us today.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a CHOSEN VESSEL unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

This is from the crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus, words taken from His mouth.

In a ‘RED LETTER’ Bible, this verse is written in RED ink.

This is Jesus speaking to Ananias, a Jewish believer living in Damascus, telling him to go to Saul of Tarsus, His CHOSEN VESSEL to teach us on this earth about God.

This one verse is not even recognized in most of the churches found throughout this world today.

This verse in Acts tells us who we were to be taught by and what we were to be taught, and most of Christendom, especially today in the 21st century, has missed it.

Here is another important writing about the Body of Christ.

Romans 12

vs4 ‘…For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office…’

vs5 ‘…so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another…’ AKJV (Authorized King James Version)

Other writings, on the Body of Christ can be found in: 1Corinthians 12:12-27 and Ephesians 1:22-23.

Notice how all the writing about Jesus’ Church, are found in the writings by the apostle Paul, the apostle Jesus CHOSE for us to learn from.

Continue in your studies of Jesus.

Continue FOLLOWING in His footsteps and stop trying to break new trails … He is right there in front of you asking for you to FOLLOW Him.

FOLLOW HIM.

I love ALL of y’all.

You are more than welcome to follow me as I walk through the writing of Paul, in my pursuit to FOLLOW Jesus.

Timeline in Biblical History – 2

Wednesday 111925

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…’ AKJV

Jesus, as we continue in this series, remain with us Jesus and keep our hunger to continuously desire more of the Word that You have given us. I love You Jesus. Amen.

The Bible verses we’re going to use this morning are:

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Kings 16:6; Genesis 32:28; Deuteronomy 7:6; Matthew 26:28; Acts 8:1.

We are going to continue in this new series.

1-One people

2-OT (the history of Israel, the Jewish nation)

3- NT for the Church of God, the Body of Christ.

4-Tribulation and the Kingdom.

This morning, we are going to start on the second section, the OT (the history of Israel, the Jewish nation).

Over the past few years, I have taught that the OT (I believe), begins in Genesis 12:1.

This is when God chooses one man out of the many walking the earth, to spread His message.

In the past, I have taught that I believe the OT begins in Genesis 12:1 and continues through Acts 8:40, so I see no reason not to continue with that plan this morning.

This part of the Bible that I consider the OT is a written transcript for the Jewish nation.

I believe it is for the Jewish nation to see the number of times they failed in their belief of God.

I believe it is also to show them the number of times God gave them extra so they could succeed.

There is another verse in 2 Timothy that I believe should be very important to ALL of us.

2 Timothy 3:16 ‘…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…’ AKJV

ALL Scripture is given for us all to learn from, but NOT ALL Scripture is meant for ALL of us to FOLLOW.

We are to learn from the Israelites / Jewish failures, but we’re not supposed to take their place or copy the way that they acted towards God.

So, from the original question that got this series started, I found the first reference where the word Jew was used in our Bibles, it is found in 2 Kings.

2 Kings 16:6 ‘…At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day…’ AKJV

So, after I was able to have my original question answered, immediately another question popped up: around what year did that above event happen.

I found written on google.com the following:

In 2 Kings 16:6, the King of Aram, Rezin, recaptured the city of Elath from Judah. This event is understood to have occurred during the reign of Ahaz, King of Judah.

Biblical scholars and historians use various methods to estimate the dates of events described in the Bible, including comparing with Assyrian records and other ancient Near Eastern texts.

According to Edwin R. Thiele’s chronology, Ahaz reigned from approximately 732 to 716 BCE. Other scholars suggest slightly different dates, such as William F. Albright who dates Ahaz’s reign to 744–728 BCE.

Based on these chronologies, the recapture of Elath by Rezin, as recorded in 2 Kings 16:6, is estimated to have occurred sometime during the reign of King Ahaz, likely in the 8th century BCE. More specifically, some sources relate this event to the period of the Syro-Ephraimite War, which occurred in the mid-730s BCE. [1]

With the use of the Word of God (the book of TRUTH), and by using my go-to for most of my daily questions (google.com), I answered the question that I was asking myself the night earlier as I was in bed, lying down, about to go to sleep and then a follow-up question.

Here is a more detailed description of what I had found on google.com, when I asked my original question, that morning about where was the first occurrence the word Jew, referenced in the Bible.

The first instance of the word Jew or Jew’s in the Bible is found in 2 Kings 16:6, in the context of the Israelites’ conflict with the Arameans, where it is recorded that the Arameans drove the Jews from Eilat, according to the King James Bible Dictionary. The term Jew in this context refers to the inhabitants of the southern kingdom of Judah, which became the Kingdom of Judah after the division of the Israelite kingdom. The term Jew is later used more broadly to refer to the descendants of Jacob/Israel. [2]

Beginning with Abram, later named Abraham by God, Abraham had a son, Issac and Issac had a son named Jacob.

Jacob was renamed by God to Israel.

Genesis 32:28 ‘…And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed…’ AKJV

This is where Israel came from, found in our Bibles.

Our Bibles, the Word of God, have been written for ALL mankind but over three-quarters of the Bible has been written for and about the Jewish people.

Maybe a verse that shows the Jewish nations importance to God, is found in Deuteronomy.

Deuteronomy 7:6 ‘…For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth…’ AKJV

God named the Jew, His chosen people around 1400 BC.

Throughout the OT, the Israelites won battle after battle with the assistance of God on their side.

Exodus: (The entire book of Exodus is concerning Israel leaving Egypt)

God led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and then intervened to save them from the pursuing Egyptian army by parting the Red Sea.

Conquest of Canaan: (the book of Joshua details how the Israelites are led by God)

In Joshua, God instructed Joshua to lead the Israelites in the conquest of the land of Canaan, providing victories through various means, such as causing hailstorms and collapsing walls.

Battle of Jericho: (Joshua chapter 6)

God instructed the Israelites to march around the city of Jericho for six days and then on the seventh day, the priests blew their trumpets, and the walls of Jericho fell down, allowing the Israelites to conquer the city.

David and Goliath: (1 Samuel 17)

While this story emphasizes David’s faith and courage, the narrative also highlights that God was with David, giving him the strength and victory over the Philistine giant Goliath.

Battle of Gibeon: (Joshua 10)

In this battle, God intervened by sending hailstones from heaven, which killed more Canaanites than the Israelites did with their swords.

King Jehoshaphat’s Prayer: (2 Chronicles 20)

When faced with a large enemy army, King Jehoshaphat prayed to God for help, and God caused the enemy to turn on each other, resulting in their defeat.

Reuben, Gad, and Manasseh: (Numbers 32 and Joshua 22)

These tribes prayed to God during a battle and were granted victory over the Hagrites because they trusted in God.

There are many more examples in the Bible, but I wanted to show a few.

God did His very best to get the Israelites, the Jewish people to worship Him. He did extra for them to show that He cared.

But the Jewish people never gave there all towards God, no matter how many times He gave them miraculous gifts and make their life easier, they always failed Him.

Their man-made, Orthodox Jewish religion always got in their way.

Just as the man-made religions today, in  the 21st century, have gotten in our way of accepting the One True and ONLY gift that we need to make it through this life we are living in.

MMLJ (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), the gospels that were written about Jesus’ earthly life, before His crucifixion. Were ALL written to and for the Jewish individual.

Nothing in those gospels are for us in the 21st century today.

And our man-made churches today, for the most part, that is all that they teach their congregations.

Easter Sunday (maybe the most powerful holiday in church history), before 90% of the people in this country leave the building, their pastor or priest will end up right back in the gospels by MMLJ.

Matthew 26:28 ‘…for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins…’ AKJV

Jesus was telling us Himself, before He died that it was His Blood that was going to save us and most of Christendom won’t read those words Jesus told us.

After Jesus was resurrected, He moved onward. He kept moving forward.

Why do so many return back to MMLJ, Jesus didn’t.

Jesus came back to this earth for forty days and nights to try and change the Jewish man and their religion.

He had His remaining apostles stay in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came to this earth (Pentecost), but the apostles never moved anywhere.

We can read in the Word that after Pentecost (Acts 2), the apostles remained in Jerusalem.

Acts 8:1 ‘…And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles…’ AKJV

From this verse in Acts 8, we can see the next person that God is going to select to teach mankind what He wants us to know.

And the shame is hundreds of thousands of people won’t look at him and what He is trying to teach us.

Read your Bible and FOLLOW the path that God has laid out for you.

When God goes to the left, FOLLOW Him.

When God goes to the right, FOLLOW Him,

When God makes a CHOICE, FOLLOW His CHOICE.

I’ll be back next Wednesday, and we’ll start on part 3.

I love ALL of y’all.

I am InHIM.><)))o>

Jesus, there are so many out there that are unable to allow themselves to HEAR You. I ask that You would soften their hearts and allow them to be guided by Your Spirit so in the end, they too could find Your love. I love You Jesus. Amen.

There will be some this morning that are going to disagree with the beliefs that I hold onto firmly and the beliefs that I feel comfortable with.

Please allow me to  be the first this morning, to let you know that just because there may be a difference in opinions, in no way, should we not move forward with our discussion on what values are found in the Word of God.

I’ve often wondered, with God being Omniscient, why was He not clearer in His words that we have been given by Him?

Just look at America alone, in most cities across our great country, there can be ten different churches in any city limits found in this country, and some cities, the number is even larger.

Every one of these churches ALL have different beliefs of what we are supposed to do and what we cannot do.

Just look at all of the different versions of the Bible in the English language, there are certain groups of people (and churches), that will disagree with any reading of the Word, if they feel it is taken from a different version, other than the one they use.

This feeling is ALL man-made. Nowhere does God inform us what version we should be using, and which ones we shouldn’t be using. In fact, the original Bible was written in Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic. Here is another fact, the English language wasn’t even started until the 5th century, AD and the Bible was completed in the 1st century, AD.

There is a disagreement over something that wasn’t even thought of when God first gave us the Word.

I believe we should be following in Jesus’ footsteps instead of us breaking new trails. I believe when Jesus told Ananias that He CHOSE a teacher for this world to teach us what He wanted us to know, we should FOLLOW His choice, and not doing what we want to do.

In Acts 9, the crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus Christ made a CHOICE and selected a man to be our teacher.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

If you yourself, use a ‘RED LETTER’ Bible, the above verse is written with RED ink.

Here is a part of the definition given, for a RED LETTER Bible, explained to us on the internet on google.com.

A red-letter Bible signifies that the words are the direct quotes of Jesus Christ, printed in red ink to make them easy to identify and focus on. [1]

Jesus CHOSE Saul of Tarsus to teach every one on the planet earth, and there are those that won’t even read the writings by Paul.

Here is another important verse found in Acts.

Acts 13:9 ‘…But [a]Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him, looked steadily at Elymas…’ AMP (Amplified Bible)

Footnotes

[a] Saul was the apostle Paul’s Jewish (Hebrew) name. As his ministry to Gentiles began he became known by his Roman (Latin) name, Paul.

Paul wrote thirteen (13) letters, and these letters are meant to teach us today what God wants from us.

From Romans through Philemon, these books are found in the Word of God for our learning.

Writings that are found when Jesus walked this earth were teachings for the Jewish people.

These writing have never been meant for us Gentiles and yet, ninety-five (95) percent of the churches today in America, they teach Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (MMLJ), as if the words were written for us today.

If they were written for us, why would Jesus leave heaven to confront Saul of Tarsus on his way to Damascus or why would Jesus have spoken to Ananias in a vision? Why would He not have just remained silent and wait for His 2nd coming?

Paul gave us the Gospel that he was given by Jesus Christ so that we would know about the change that was made by God. (1COR15:1-4)

Throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis 12:1 through Revelation 22:21, all the words are for the Jewish people, except for the thirteen books written by Paul, Romans through Philemon, they are for us Gentiles today.

I invite you to follow me in my pursuit in FOLLOWING in Jesus’ footsteps instead of us cutting our own trail … I hope you join me.

I love ALL of y’all.

Many people in our country, have plans on attending a church service this weekend, in a man-made religious building.

Right now, in America, there are an estimated 400 different religious bodies with multiple congregations.

Major religions include various denominations like Catholics, Methodists, and Baptists (just to name a few) and there are some non-Christian faiths like Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism.

The above religions are all man-made religious systems. None of the above religions are capable of saving a single person when God determines this world is finished.

There is ONLY One that can save us and that is God.

The God that is found in our Holy Bibles, the Word of God.

For the last two (2) months, Bible sales have gone through the roof. Church attendance has hit new highs. But in most cases, man’s churches and the Bible, are not used correctly or together.

Most of these man-made religions have all printed their own beliefs and prayers that are used every week in their services.

In most of these religions, the Word of God is not even opened during their weekly service and in those religions that do open their Bibles, messages are read that have nothing to do with us today in the 21st century.

In God’s Word there are two (2) very important verses found and both of them are in the same book.

2Timothy 2:15 ‘…Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ AKJV

2Timothy 3:16 ‘…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…’ AKJV

In the first (1st) verse, we should focus  on the two (2) words that are written in that verse: RIGHTLY DIVIDING.

We are told to STUDY, so we are wise enough to  know what words have been written for us to read and what words have been written for us to follow.

In the second (2nd) verse, we should put our focus on the word that is not used in that verse.

Nowhere in that verse are we told we are to FOLLOW every word of Scripture.

In one verse we’re told how ALL SCRIPTURE has been given to us by God and in the other verse we’re told we need to STUDY His Word, so we are wise enough to RIGHTLY DIVIDE His Word.

In our Bibles today, God’s Word has been separated by the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT).

I think the Bible is split up into so many more divisions.

I think from Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 11:32, should be a section all by itself. It is a section where the earth and everything seen has been created and everything is ALL alike. There is only one group of mankind, no separation of Jews and no separation of Gentiles, there was only one group of people … until the tower of Babel.

I think the next section begins in Genesis 12:1 and goes all the way through Acts 8:40 when God gives us the history of His Chosen people, the Jews.

Throughout the Bible (from Genesis 12:1 through Acts 8:40) there is nothing shown but the failure of the Jews to believe what God was telling them.

The Jews had crucified Jesus Christ and had Him killed on a cross. It wasn’t until the death of Stephen, by being stoned to death by the Sanhedrin (Acts 7), that God determined it was a time for a change. God no longer looked solely at the Jewish nation as being the only people that deserved to be saved.

We then come to a section of the Bible that I think we are to live by and FOLLOW today, Acts 9:1 through Philemon 1:25.

There is a verse in Acts 9.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him (Ananias), Go thy way: for he (Saul) is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

The crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus Christ came back to this earth to announce His CHOSEN VESSEL to teach this entire world what He, God wants for us  to know.

Jesus in a vision, told Ananias to GO to Saul of Tarsus because he (Saul) is who Jesus CHOSE to edify this world.

Churches today have missed this one verse. WHY ?

Ask them … it doesn’t make any sense.

I would conclude the Bible with the last section from Hebrews 1:1 through Revelation 22:21 as being writings for the Kingdom, the future events after the Rapture when Jesus’ Church is removed from this earth.

Over the years, I have tried to emphasize how important it is for each one of us to open up our Bibles and READ the Word of God for ourselves.

I want everyone to have the opportunity to gain what each and every one of us has been offered, the ONLY thing is we MUST BELIEVE.

Our FAITH in God is what is going to trigger our BELIEF for us and the only way our FAITH can grow is by READING the Word of God.

Over the years, I’ve tried to come up with a basic plan, where each one of us could get over the hundreds of excuses as to why we couldn’t READ His Word and just simply OPEN our Bibles and begin to read of His promises to and for us.

We all can get excuses why we can’t read the Bible. The most used excuse of all time, is simply time, people will claim they don’t have the time in their day to read their Bible.

Allow me to help you find the time you need to read your Bible.

Give up sitting in front of your tv for 30 minutes a day, give up being on your computer or your phone on social media for just 30 minutes a day, give up playing your Xbox or your PlayStation for just 30 minutes a day and in less than two weeks, the part of the Bible that is the most significant to each one of us in the 21st century, is read.

Give it a second two weeks and re-read what you just read … and why not continue.

Thirty minutes a day is NOT going to upset your schedule. Download a Bible app onto your phone and during a coffee break or lunch at work, read a couple of verses from the Bible. Bible apps cost nothing to download on your phone and just about every adult in America carries a phone with them.

I have BibleGateway on my phone, computer and tablet. As of this morning, there were 64 English versions of the Bible available with every download. Now there are many in America that believe the King James version of the Bible is the only Bible that should be read … I disagree but a point that I would voice, there are many times a person needs a different English version of the Bible so they can even understand what has been written in the King James version.

I have included my Bible reading plan in this paper, I hope it will assist that person out there that is looking where to start, and they’ve been asking for help. Here is my suggestion:

Day 1    –     Galatians 1-6, 1Thessalonians 1-5

Day 2    –     2Thessalonians 1-3, 1Corinthians 1-8

Day 3    –     1Corinthians 9-16

Day 4    –     2Corinthians 1-13

Day 5    –     Romans 1-10

Day 6    –     Romans 11-16, Philippians 1-4

Day 7    –     Colossians 1-4, Ephesians 1-6

Day 8    –     Philemon 1, 1 Timothy 1-6, Titus 1-3, 2Timothy 1-4

Day 9    –     Acts 1-7

Day 10  –     Acts 8-13

Day 11  –     Acts 14-20

Day 12  –     Acts 21-28

Allow God to speak to you through His Word.

I hope this helps at least one individual who has never opened a Bible before, but they are seeking to find God.

All of those people that have just bought their Bible for the first time and are unable to figure out where to start, this reading plan is for you.

I love ALL of y’all … but God LOVES you more.

READ His Word so you will be ready when He calls.

I am InHIM. ><)))o>

ps-

You may ask, why did I only post the writings of Paul and the book of Acts, to me, the answer is quite clear, we are told in Acts that Jesus CHOSE Saul of Tarsus (Paul), to be the teacher for the entire population of the world.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

If you are reading from a ‘RED LETTER’ Bible, the above verse is written in red ink, these words are spoken by Jesus, the crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus Christ. Jesus came back to this earth, by revelation to Saul and vs15 are words spoken by Jesus to Ananias, a Jewish believer living in Damascus.

Paul’s writings are the Doctrine that we are to FOLLOW today in the 21st century.

I included the book of Acts into this reading plan, so the pivotable change can be seen that was made by God.

There are about just as many people that don’t believe in the writings by Paul as there are those that think we should only read from the KJV. Just so you know, both of these beliefs are nothing but made up, man-made rules that they want other human beings to follow, NONE of their beliefs or words are found in the Word of God.

Many of these people that don’t read the apostle Paul’s writings, they think His epistles should be ripped from our Bibles and thrown away, but Luke, the writer of one of the synoptic gospels wrote the book of Acts telling us that Jesus CHOSE Saul, are we to rip out the book of Acts also?

What about the gospel that was written by Luke, should that be torn from our Bibles too?

2Peter 3

vs15 ‘…And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you…’

vs16 ‘…as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction…’ AKJV

This man called Peter, from Matthew 16:18, Jesus calls Peter the Rock of the church, in Matthew 4:19 Jesus told Peter that he would be ‘fishers of men,’ Peter was a natural leader in the Jewish Christian community, Peter was an apostle and a pillar in the origins of the early church, because Peter wrote that Paul’s writings were from wisdom, he called his writings SCRIPTURE and those that don’t understand his writings, they don’t  understand other Scripture as well, are we then to rip out Peters 2nd epistle also … and maybe his 1st epistle as well?

Where did these so-called christians read where God told us we could pick and choose what books and verses we want to believe in the Bible, and we could simply toss the other ones aside … where is the verse? They can’t because there is no such verse in the Word of God.

Here are those two (2) important verses found in 2Timothy again.

2Timothy 2:15 ‘…Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ NKJV

2Timothy 3:16 ‘…All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…’ AKJV

In 2:15 we are told of the importance for us to ‘RIGHTLY DIVIDE’ the Word of Truth, the Word of God.

In 3:16, it not as important to notice what is in the verse, as it is to notice WHAT IS NOT IN THE VERSE. The word FOLLOW is not in that verse.

All Scripture has been given to us by God, but we are not told we are to FOLLOW ALL SCRIPTURE … we are to be WISE, so we are able to RIGHTLY DIVIDE the Word of God.

If you are visiting a man-made religion, in their man-made building and what they are preaching cannot be backed up by God’s Word, LEAVE, get out as soon as you can.

Go home and OPEN your Bible and READ the truth that God wants for you to HEAR.

I love y’all.

Timeline in Biblical History – 1

Wednesday 111225

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV

Romans 10:9 ‘…that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…’ AKJV

Jesus, as we begin this new series, allow the reader the opportunity to search Your Word and find the questions that may have been troubling them for many years. Allow our hunger for Your Word to take over for us and keep us glued to the pages You have set before us. We love You Jesus. Amen.

The Bible verses we’re going to use this morning are:

2 Timothy 2:15; Genesis 6:10, 11:1, 11:9, 12:1; Joshua 24:2; Genesis 35:2.

As I was lying in bed the other night, about to fall off to sleep, the last thought that flashed through my mind was I needed to remember for the next morning, where was the first reference of the word Jew, Jews, Jewish nation or Judaism written in our Bibles.

When I awoke the next morning, I went directly to my laptop and opened it up and searched online, looking for the answer to my question that I had asked myself, the night before.

That question that I has asked myself has turned into this short series, we’re going to begin this morning.

By using a general timeline of biblical history, my intention is to portray the life that God has set forth in front of us, for us ALL to see, written in His Word.

I’m not looking to explain some belief that is celebrated in a man-made religion or practiced in a man-made church, but instead I want to find what God wants from us.

Maybe one of the more powerful verses found in the written Word is found in 2 Timothy.

2 Timothy 2:15 ‘…Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ AKJV

I think the key words in this verse is rightly dividing the word of truth.

Very often in my study, I read and quote from the King James, not because there are those out there in this world, that vocalize that the KJV should be the ONLY version of the English Bible that is read from … my ONLY question to that remark is where did God tell us that? What Book, chapter and verse has that point been made?

And the easy answer is that God never told us anywhere, that we were to only study from the KJV. This is nothing more than a man-made, made up rule that certain people want all people to do to be saved.

The same way that the Orthodox Jews, the Sanhedrin, the Sadducees and the Pharisees wanted ALL Jews to abide by their rules and regulations and not listen to the man known as Jesus.

The same way that the Jews were telling the Gentiles they couldn’t be saved if they didn’t keep the commandments.

These are nothing but man-made rules that some human being wants to impress on you … WHY??? … I cannot speak for these individuals.

All I can say is we are lucky that God is going to judge us for how we abide by His rules and forget about being misled by these ill advised human beings that think they are something important.

Read your Bible and listen to the words that God has given to each one of us, in His Word.

Follow what God wants for us, so we can escape the future of torment and destruction that has been plainly portrayed to us in the Word of God.

I don’t want to act like a magician and magically produce times, dates and events for the reader. I truly hope to show exactly what has been written in the Word of God.

I don’t intend on being flagrant, just copying Bible verses taken from the Word of God, I simply wish to portray what God has given us in His Word.

I believe the Bible is showing us, that it is separated into more divisions than just the OT / NT.

I believe the Bible is showing us, four divisions that it should be sectioned up into.

#1-One people

#2-OT (the history of Israel, the Jewish nation)

#3- NT for the Church of God, the Body of Christ.

#4-Tribulation and the Kingdom.

Now, divisions #2 and #4, are ONLY for the Jewish nation. The seven years of Tribulation are the remaining seven years of punishment that God put on the Jews for their failure to allow the land to rest every seventh year. This is written about in Daniel 9, under Seventy Weeks.

I am going to repeat this belief of mine in all of the upcoming lessons in this series.

I am going to use it as a starting point for each lesson.

This morning, in this lesson, I am going to focus on, #1 – ONE people.

The Creation of Adam and Eve has been given the date of occurring around 4004 BC (A number that is normally ascribed to this time period by many).

Another time, also popular among many, is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, that occurred around 30 AD (some will quote 33 AD).

Now I am purposely rounding the numbers off because I am not trying to be exact, I  am simply trying to establish a basic timeline.

Around 2500 BC, there was the Great Flood.

Approximately 1500 years after Adam, was the flood.

Noah came out of the ark with his wife and their three sons: Shem, Ham and Japeth (Genesis 6:10 ‘…And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth…’ AKJV), along with each sons wife; a total of eight people.

All that remained from creation, alive and on earth, were these eight individuals. Everything came from them.

Around 2100 BC, the event at the Tower of Babel took place.

From the eight up to the tower of Babel, there was only ONE group of people. There was no Jewish nation, no Gentile nation; there was no individual, separate class of anyone, there was only ONE group of people, mankind.

Genesis 11:1 ‘…And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech…’ AKJV

It was from the result of what occurred at the tower, that God split mankind up into different groups.

Genesis 11:9 ‘…Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth…’ AKJV

If we continue in Genesis 11:10 through 11:32, the reader is shown the family line of Shem, one of Noah’s sons.

After this episode that occurred at the tower of Babel, there was complete silence between God and those that remained on this earth, that He had scattered throughout the land, until Abram is picked by God in Genesis 12:1.

Genesis 12:1 ‘…Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee…’ AKJV

The makeup of mankind, at this time period when God selected Abram, was very much steeped in idolatry.

Joshua 24:2 ‘…And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods…’ AKJV

But the earliest we hear of idols is in Genesis 35:2, when the first mention of idols are talked about in the Bible.

Genesis 35:2 ‘…Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments…’ AKJV

This first part of this series, which I’ve tried writing on this morning, was still in the old testament, however I hope I have shown the separation of ONE PEOPLE.

Next week, when we start back up, we will begin in #2-OT (the history of Israel, the Jewish nation).

Until next week, let me suggest to you that you read more about Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 11:32. Study what God wants for us to know, so you are familiar with ‘one people.’

I will be back next Wednesday.

I love ALL of y’all.

I am InHIM.><)))o>

Jesus, keep us all safe and allow our hunger to continue to keep us in Your Word so we can learn more of what You desire for us to know. I love You Jesus. Amen.

As I was lying in bed the other night, about to go to sleep, the last thought that went through my mind that I remember was what was the first reference in the Bible of a Jew, the Jewish nation or Judaism.

When I awoke the next morning, I opened up my laptop and searched online, looking for the answer to my question that I had asked the night before.

2 Kings 16:6 ‘…At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day…’ AKJV

So, the next question that arose was asking: around what year did the above event happen.

With the use of the Word of God (the book of TRUTH), and by using my go-to for most of my daily questions (google.com), I answered the question that I was asking myself the night earlier as I was in bed, lying down, about to go to sleep.

Here is a more detailed description of what I had found on google.com, when I asked my original question, that morning about where was the first occurrence the word Jew, was referenced in the Bible.

I use a timeline for showing the history of this earth for nothing other than helping to see this worlds, past history.

God created this earth and began with Adam and Eve in 4004 BC.

Jesus died on the cross in 33 AD.

Halfway between these two (2) dates, Abram appeared in the Bible, Genesis 12:1, year 2000 BC.

The Old Testament (OT) is an amazing read … for anyone. But be wise, nothing that was written in the OT was written for us today in the 21st century, or are we to follow any of the earlier writings.

The OT is a history of the Jewish nation, and it shows their continuous failure to obey God.

Maybe one of the more important verses found in the entire Bible, is found in 2Timothy.

2Timothy 2:15 ‘…Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…’ NKJV

We are told to be wise and RIGHTLY DIVIDE the Word of truth, which is the Word of God, our Holy Bibles.

God gave us His Word so we could FOLLOW in His footsteps.

OPEN your Bible and read the words that God wants for us to HEAR.

From what is written in the Word, God shows us He had plans to ONLY save His Chosen people, but after the many years in the Jewish nations failure to follow God’s demands and with their choice to crucify Jesus Christ, and their final act of stoning to death Stephen (Acts 7), God made a change in Biblical history.

The crucified, resurrected and ascended Jesus Christ, left heaven to confront Saul of Tarsus on his way to Damascus to capture more Jewish believers.

Acts 9:3 ‘…And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven…’ AKJV

That ‘LIGHT’ talked about in verse 3, is Jesus Christ confronting Saul.

This next verse is Jesus speaking to Ananias, telling him that Saul of Tarsus was CHOSEN by Him.

Acts 9:15 ‘…But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’ AKJV

God knew His Chosen people were going to fail Him from when the earth was created. God knew that He was going to offer His GIFT of Salvation to ALL mankind.

But these were all kept secret by God until the time was right.

Before we go to far, we need to look at another important verse for us in Acts.

I used the Amplified version in the above verse because of the FOOTNOTES that has been added regarding Paul.

God told His plans of change to the apostle Paul through His MYSTERY.

Ephesians 3

vs3 ‘…how that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words…’

vs4 ‘…whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)…’

vs5 ‘…which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit…’

vs6 ‘…that the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel…’

vs7 ‘…whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power…’ AKJV

We know from reading His Word, that there was a change made by God that ALL of us, especially us today in the 21st century, need to pay attention to.

God CHOSE Paul to teach ALL of us the words that He wants us to know, all of us, the entire world …

‘…the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel…’

There is no one left, the above part of the verse include ALL of mankind.

Paul wrote thirteen letters, from Romans to Philemon.

These are the writings we are to focus on. These are the writings that God has given us so we could be saved.

I would like to offer each one of you an invitation to join me in my weekly lessons to help us find and understand what God wants from us today.

Lately I have been writing on Monday’s and Friday’s also, as well as my weekly lesson on Wednesday’s.

Throughout my years of being on social media and online teaching my lessons, I’ve noticed one question that has been repeated every couple of weeks.

The question is:

Once that I have been saved, am I saved forever, or can I lose the saving that I was given?

This question is repeated every few weeks, even by pastors today.

Let’s go to God’s Word and find out what He tells us in His Word.

I am first drawn to a verse found in His Word, where God tells us about being saved.

Ephesians 2:8 ‘…For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…’ AKJV

We are told in God’s Word that we are saved through FAITH, by the GIFT that God has given to us.

BY HIS GRACE.

Well, if we didn’t do anything to get SAVED … how can we possibly do anything to be UNSAVED?

I would say this may possibly be the shortest lesson I’ve taught over the years.

If we ‘BELIEVE’ that God saved us, we are SAVED.

If we CHOOSE to NOT BELIEVE that God saved us, or if we CHOOSE to BELIEVE that we can lose being saved, we are still SAVED, EXCEPT in our own minds … but according to God, WE ARE SAVED, IT IS HIS GIFT TO US.

In a way, this goes back to the differences in
Salvation and Sanctification. Every one of us human beings are offered Salvation … we attained that forgiveness when Jesus Christ died on the cross for ALL mankind and for ALL sins. We are clean and pure, forever.

Sanctification is what we do throughout our lifetime. Every time we listen to a powerful, gut wrenching Christian song about our FAITH or Jesus, we strengthen our FAITH in Him. Every time we open our Bibles and we READ the words that He has given us, we are strengthening our FAITH. Every time we are in a group of people, and we begin speaking about the powers we have found through God, we are strengthening our FAITH.

Every time we publically post a word mentioning Jesus, we are strengthening our Faith and every time we have a Bible study with others, we are strengthening our FAITH.

We are strengthening our FAITH, we are sanctifying our BELIEF In Him, but we haven’t affected our SAVING one way or the other.

Here is some OT Scripture for you:

Isaiah 14:27 ‘…Yes, the Lord Almighty has decided what he will do. Nobody can change it. He is ready to show his power. Nobody can stop it…’ EASY

Isaiah 46:10 ‘…From the beginning, I say what will happen at the end. Long ago, I spoke about future things that have not yet happened. I say this: My purpose will not change. I will do everything that I want to do…’ EASY

Proverbs 16:9 ‘…People make plans for what they will do, but it is the Lord who leads them in the right way…’ EASY

Proverbs 19:21 ‘…You may have lots of ideas about what you want to do. But it is the Lord’s plans that are important…’ EASY

Numbers 23:19 ‘…God is not human. He does not tell lies. He does not change his thoughts. If he promises to do something, it happens…’ EASY

Mankind changes our minds, but God on the other hand, He never changes His mind. What He says, WILL happen, ALWAYS.

God offered each one of us a GIFT, we have a choice, we can accept His GIFT, or we can turn it down … but the fact will always remain, that God offered us that GIFT.

He is NEVER going to take His GIFT back from us once we’ve accepted it.

Once SAVED … always SAVED.

Now, what we do with that saving, is up to us.

I love ALL of y’all.
